Stupid Fun Collision

So, I remember one time I was in the training room, and someone pulled this spell [card]Collision[/card] on me.  I read it, and the janky MTG player inside of me said '5 magical damage to each character (On the first turn)!  That's awesome!'

So I made a deck with them, and actually, it's really fun.  Granted, it's not really a deck to be played in ELO, it'd get crushed. I did play a few games with it in ELO to see, and it beat out bad decks, but I doubt it'd be much competition against anything tier 1.

So, here's the build:

[card]Gemineye[/card]
[card]Hook[/card] (Powder)
[card]Fog Snake[/card]  (That's right....  Fog Snake)

3 x [card]Collision[/card] (The centerpiece)
3 x [card]Illumination[/card] (This offers a way to 'chain' Collision, in a way.  Gemineye and Fog Snake are the only ones who can use it.)
3 x [card]Infernal Cricket[/card] (Great extra damage, also can chain Illumination.)
2 x [card]Narwhal[/card] (Mainly for Hook.  A sniper's always good to finish off some scary big character.)
3 x [card]Conquer or Perish[/card] (It has some neat interaction with Narwhal.  If the opposing character plays an action after this card, and you, say chain Narwhal, you deal an immediate physical attack to the opposing character, and snipe another out of combat character.  Note if you chose the opposing character with Narwhal you DO NOT attack him a second time.)
2 x [card]Extortion[/card]  (Gets rid of pesky items)
2 x [card]Favor of the Dawn[/card] (Chain for Fog Snake for defense + Illumination)
2 x [card]Anathematize[/card] (We should all know why these are here.)

I just figured I'd put the list up for people to look at, and maybe for the community to make it better.

Re : Stupid Fun Collision

I think his aim is to use collision, thus using air magic not powder

I thought about that, but Ardranis is far too weak, and it's not worth it to take Hook out to have another character who can use Collision.  Hooks great for using Narwhal to kill off some pesky character at 4 or less health.

Re : Stupid Fun Collision

I think the problem with this deck is that your main spell will do less and less damage as time goes by...
Illumination partly helps with this luckily, so you have 6 cards to cast collision at start (2 collisions on the first 2 turns would be about 5+3/4 magic damage to each character, good if no mages are around!)...

Good luck with the deck!

Re : Stupid Fun Collision

Collision is more suitable for Demon Control, which can stick you pretty bad with double digits in your deck on the second go

I would probably take out an Anesthetize for a Clumsiness.

Collision is better than you think.
Remember that the damage is divided by the number of LIVING opponents.

If all 3 opponents are alive and healthy by turn 3, you're doing something wrong with this deck.

Normally by turn 3, one of my opponents characters are dead.  If I get a good hand, and manage to get my two-hit combo with Hook, generally it's a death sentence.  Then Collision does even more damage.  Generally they'll still have 11 or so cards left, which translates to 5 magical damage to both of their remaining characters.
