A Sap Heart Caste

I currently run a Quick Draw elf deck, Melissandre, Ydiane, and The Claw, and have noticed that most other decks are all Caste Bound, and it occurred to me that there the Sap Hearts don't have a Caste, but are more divided by race than anything else.

So, I've decided to create my own big_smile called the Raiders

First, Melissandre, Ydiane, and Elfine gain the caste "Raider" and the Elfine Bow becomes their Caste weapon.




Second:  A couple new Heroes:
Lothian - Marauder - Elf - Raider - level 1
Spirit: 1
Attack: 6-8
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 11
Attack +1 against Marauders.
Turns 1, 4, 7:  Attack +1
Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Lothian - Marauder - Elf - Raider - Level 2:
Spirit: 1
Attack: 7-9
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 11
Attack +1 against Marauders.
Turns 1, 4, 7:  Attack +1

Lothian - Marauder - Elf - Raider - Level 3:
Spirit: 1
Attack: 7-9
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 12
Attack +1 against Marauders.
Turns 1, 4, 7:   Attack +1
Most find the life of a scout to be lonely, it just gave Lothian time to hone his skills.

Lady Atlana - Mage - Elf  - Raider - Level 1:
Spirit: 2
Attack:  3-5
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 9
Turns 2, 4 and 6:  Spirit -1 to +1
She draws her magic from the earth itself.

Lady Atlana - Mage - Elf - Raider - Level 2:
Spirit: 2
Attack: 4-6
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 10
Defense +1 if Bogun is in play.
Turns 2, 4 and 6:  Spirit -1 to +2

Lady Atlana - Mage - Elf - Raider - Level 3
Spirit: 3
Attack: 4-6
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 12
Defense +1 if Bogun is in play.
Turns 2, 4 and 6:  Spirit -1 to +.
Her magic was always unpredictable, its only grown more wild.

Bogun - Warrior - Golem - Hom'Chai - Level 1
Spirit: 0
Attack: 5-8
Defense: 1
Hit Points: 11
Gain Chain if you play a Hammer.
Turns 1 and 6:  Attack +1
Atlana never had any children, so she made one of her own

Bogun - Warrior - Golem - Hom'Chai - Level 2
Spirit: 0
Attack: 6-9
Defense: 2
Hit Points: 12
Gain Chain if you play a Hammer
Turns 1 and 6:  Attack +1
Most Golems have to be modified, Bogun simply grew.

Bogun - Warrior - Golem - Hom'Chai - Level 3
Spirit: 0
Attack: 6-9
Defense: 3
Hit Points: 13
Gain Chain if you play a Hammer
Turns 1 and 6:  Attack +1
The Hom'Chai never accepted him, until now.




Third:  Some new cards:

Nature's Fury:  Spell - Nature
All Nature Guemelites you control gain Attack +1 for this turn and the next, if Played by a nature Guemelite, attack +2 instead.
Don't mess with Mother Nature.

Amber Bandage:  Item - Amulet - Hom'Chai
Activates Immediately.
+1 H.P. at the end of each fight.  Lasts 5 turns.
Crafted from the blood of the ancients, their power is still potent today

Stealthiness:  Action - Warrior - Marauder - Permanent
Your Opponent has Defense -2.
Now you see me, now you don't.

Tracking:  Action
Attack -1 to +3.
Defense -3 to +1.
Trying to sneak up on an enemy can sometimes have disastrous effects.





All in all, this is more for fun than an actual suggestion, but I like the way it turned out.  I tried keeping the cards fairly balanced, open up some new opportunities for different strategies, and stay true to the game at the same time.

I wont comment on the suggested cards, but I will say that as an avid user of the Sap hearts, we NEED a caste or another kind of support, we dont really have many options when it comes to deck building

Really like the spell and the action..

But the new characters seems odd somehow, Sap Heart often had a large health points even more health than dragon knight (14 or so in their max lv)

Btw the leader of the sap heart, keizan is a member of world tree caste and her dais brother or sister would be one as well, storywise

Natures Fury is the only good card imo. Follows a similar theme to an already existing card. Honestly Id like to see something that activated the effects of characters that have effects that activate when they die, whether they are alive or not.

World-Tree is a Sap Heart Caste.

Not all cards need to be Caste-bound.
Consider Melissandre, Ydiane and such as the Pilkim, Aerouant and The Prophet of the Sap Hearts.

But yes, I'm in favor of new Castes for Sap Hearts and every other Guild for that matter.

well with the addition of wreakwood there are 3 world trees, and hailwalker of course. but there really needts to be a little more structure for them, like perhaps a caste to tie together the world trees like some kind of liveing fortress/stronghold, i dont think they have really even begun to see the posibiltys for the sap hearts (sorry there my favorite guild)

how about this:

Spell: trade of heart
race: dais
class: mage
description: choose one of your sap heart and gain health, where X is equal to the character's spirit and reduce the character's health equal to his/her printed spirit score.


Your cards will tell you what to do.

they could also play with weopons that increse defence or offence depending on the sap hearts alive or dead, like for example

Ivy whip, sap heart, attack+1 for every liveing sap heart, defence +1 for every dead sap heart apon activation, activates imeadiatly

ok,back to the origanal thing,i reelly likethename raiders for thesap hearts,but i dont think  we should change esixting cards,and i think(from the sound of there name) they should all be mauraders,as the guild has none.and the sap hearts all have some kind of wierd quark,like death abilitys, or double attack, it think we should kinda use something like that,you  know to ad to the overallwierdness of the guild. i think, and i sugested this before, kinda a double coin ability, where the cards get more attak or defence depending on if your sap hearts are alive or dead.  such as gaining a +1 defence for all the other alive ones, and a +attack for the dead ones, this way it makes it hard for your opponet to pin down your strategy cuz as you begin to lose your cards all get stronger, kinda like the nomads who power each other up but with a sap spin. here is my sugestion for one of them (ih btw sorry i kinda stole the raiders i really like the idea of them)

Pollex- lvl 1 maurader- human/nature (g word i cant spell), raider, spa heart
attack 6/9 deffence 1, spirit 1, health 12
attack+ 1 agianst worriors
attack +1 for every other alive sap heart in play
defence+1 for ever dead sap heart
turns: 1 and 3: defence+ 1
