I know that there are work-arounds but we as paying players shouldn't have to do that. I know they want to make sure people are playing in the Elo and level rooms but it's hard to do that without fully leveled characters. Especially for newbies. It's frustrating to lose over and over and over. It takes twice as long to level a character by losing in the level rooms than it does in training. I know for a fact that I would play more if I was able to level more characters. This is a very easy fix, just remover the limitation.
Since nobody wants to respond I guess I will go into depth.
Training only gives you one extra point of experience per battle. After the 5 games if you want to try and level your characters you have to take your chances in the other rooms. Most of the time you are fighting characters at max level. Which is a waste of time because you only get 1 - 3 exp from those battles because you're probably going to lose. Max level characters aren't allowed in training so it makes the fights more even. Lifting the 5 game cap would make me play a lot more than I do. Currently I'm bored playing with the same deck over and over but I can't get my other characters leveled up because playing level one characters against max level mages or a-bomb/shadow teams is just a waste of time.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Why are we only allowed to play 5 training games per day?
Even when they're up for sale they go for over 150k.

The second attack number is your high attack. You will defiantly do at least the first number but could do up to the second number. So Fog Snake will do 5-8 damage at random.
Fan Cards are just for fun.
With Katamaru Malyss becomes pretty powerful, especially if you use two at once. On top of that he reduces the damage your other two Trackers take by one. I use Tsuro, Malyss and Hime.
I didn't "dump" money on my first day. I found the game very fun and after a few days decided to purchase some booster packs. That's how things go. Did you try sleeping in your house before you bought it? I don't think so.
If you want to enhance your experience spending a little bit of money will do that for you. They don't allow free players to sell on the market because again, it is a perk for those of us who gave them money to feed their kids. You don't work for free and shouldn't expect them to. Spend the six dollars one time and you would be able to sell on the market as well. If everyone did that they would make a whole bunch of money and would probably have more prizes and bigger payouts for tourneys. I put money into this game because I enjoy playing and I want to see it around in the long run. Not like the online version of the Marvel Vs System.:(
Thank you for explaining to me how online games work.
The ONLY way this game will succeed is if people buy Fee'z. Just because a few cards go up in price doesn't mean everything does. If you looked you would see a drop in other cards. Also it is possible to see the average price for the last seven days. If someone is selling a card for 7000 when the average is 2500, DON'T BUY IT! Right now the only people that actually have enough crystals to buy cards at a high price are the ones who have bought Fee'z or did survey's and such to get them for free. It wouldn't matter if 100,000 people played this game, if nobody bought Fee'z the game would be dead. New players aren't worth anything unless they invest money into the game. New players + nobody buying Fee'z = no money to upgrade servers = people who spent money having a bad experience because the servers are lagging to bad. Bottom line is spend money or the game will die. The market isn't going to affect the game to the extent that you think. Either that or they're going to plaster banners and commercials all over the place to compensate for the lack of income from the game. If wanted to start playing any TCG you would have to invest quite a bit of money to get started.
Don't get so hung up on the market man, it's not that big of a deal.
I was lucky enough to get a couple Hungry Voids. I sold each of them for 150k.:D
I agree with Proximus. The market will regulate itself. If you don't want to pay too much for a card don't buy it. Bottom line is the devs are not running a charity. They have families to feed. "Inflation" is part of life. I hate paying over $3.00 for a gallon of milk at the grocery store but it happens a few times a year. Supply and demand determines what a card is worth. I am a paying player and should not be punished because some players feel that the game is unfair because they didn't invest any money and don't have enough crystals to get Gaky or Kounok the Prophet. Go down to your local comic shop and ask them to give you a free starter deck for MtG. They'll laugh at you.
I use a similar setup. It takes a lot of crystals to get it set. I like Asajiro over Xin because at max level he adds 1 to both attack and defense. I tried using spears but they never activate in time and you can't use "keep your guard up" to activate it instantly. Emperor's Speech on the other hand can be activated instantly that way and if you don't have "keep...up" you can chain it with Wakizashi. Trade weapon dance for another Randori. They do the same thing but Randori gives 2 spirit to help against mages. It's an order will work until you can get It is Time. If you can't afford any Katana trade the spears for daggers so you can dual wield with your swords. Add a weapon master asap. I don't focus on defense at all except for The Monster. If I feel it necessary I use blast off but emperors or katana give you a boost. Pick up what you can here and there. Sell what you're not going to use in the near future. If you need crystals level up a few characters you don't plan on using and sell them. Even at level 2 you can usually get thousands for them on the market. Hope this helps.
Here is my setup:
Gaky, Iro & Asajiro
3 Wakizashi
3 Emperor's Speech
2 It is Time
2 Keep Your Guard Up!
1 Kensensei
2 Blast Off!
3 Randori
1 Journey
2 Firon
1 The Monster
I agree. Base it on just the level of the characters. One point for each level of their upgrade. Rathedan is right.
Agreed. It's very annoying to just wonder if you're going to get to play.
