I am having very little luck with this one. One pint achieved, but the other two just aren't coming...
The event is quite buggy ATM.
The card with -10 attack doesnt trigger the -10 attack like 4/5 times (doesnt take spirit but it's a missed action =/)
The card with 5 direct dmg for 2 spirit TAKES spirit but doesnt activate.
The card for extra attack, if you activate 2 of them 3/4 the 2nd one doesnt activate (doesn't take spirit). It quite miscalculates the battles.
Are you sure you aren't up against the enemy ship that on turn 4+ ignores the first action you play?
I don't know how you folks are saying the last mission is possible w/out favors. I'm getting my butt handed to me ![]()

Are the 'lottery tickets' being given out correctly? I have won 2x battles and haven't seen anything pop up.
Thanks for info,

Happy to help out as well. In game ashman.

I have been unable to try this with V-Schlong as I don't have all the cards. But wondering if it will work.
Even turn, play Illumination. This action is copied, and it would then (in theory) pull the two Collisions out of my deck and play them.
Problem is, V-Schlong cannot play spells on Even. But, he's not technically 'playing' them, either, much in the same way that AoE isn't allowed to be played with other cards, but combos can make it happen.
So, is this a valid combo?
Thanks!

Fair enough.
So the same applies for Hares the Brute and Aez the Wandering Warrior (the common versions)?

This probably has something to do with the fact that, at one time, Kounok existed w/out Kounok the Prophet. (KtP came in a separate, later release). So, at one time, Kounok L3 was the highest he could go.
My guess is the difference you're seeing between him and the sisters, is that they were upgrade-able from the beginning.
That said, I agree you are correct in that this should be fixed/updated.
Just my 2.

But the real question is why?? Kimiko is cheap in the marketplace, play a few games and just buy her!
I'm with you in my confusion. Right now Ice Coffin is going for 3100 Luans. It also is 1900 crystals.
1900 crystals is, at worst, 95 games if you lose all of them. At worst case 10 minutes per game, that's 15.8 hrs (not counting daily bonus, etc).
3100 Luans cost, best case scenario, 86.1 hours (180 luans/5 hours assuming all wins).
What gives?

soulst3al3r a écrit :this one card just absolutely crushes Foam Giant.
then its a must have card for foamy and queen haters
This card (at least as written) will only cause 1 point of damage to the Queen. This deals 3 magic damage, and she has a spirit of 2, so 1 base damage.
The additional damage for each item is good...except that most items played with her give her at least 1 spirit, thus negating the additional damage point. I suppose often she also is given the Crown of the Border, which means she would take 2 damage.
Freeze remains the best recourse. Warrior decks are still hosed against her.

What if the did something like, If you bought something in the last two weeks then you are guaranteed cards in adventure mode an maybe up the chance of getting the event cards, an if you don't then it is how it is now. Kinda like how you have to make purchases to use the market.
I like how intelligent the community can be...at times
Many of us seem on the same page. See my suggestion in the Suggestions section.
Have a good day,

Feerik;
This is my suggestion for the current issues/debate over the Adventure mode rewards.
As a reward for completing missions in the Adventure mode, players receive 'bid points' (call them whatever you like). These points can then be used in the 'auction house' to purchase cards, similar to what we saw over Halloween event.
When a player purchases extra Energy from your store, he/she becomes 'blessed' (again, call it whatever) and earns a % bonus 'bid points' per win. This could last for 3 weeks (same as the 'sell period' on the marketplace).
In the above proposal, we move back to a system where everyone can get something-- but your paying players have a distinct and clear advantage. This system has been working with success for this game to date-- and, ultimately, since there is now a reason for people to buy this product, Feerik should also see a benefit. Applying the same type of idea to Adventure mode seems a logical step.
Please consider the following advantages to your company:
1 - Feerik already has developed an auction-type system (Halloween event) so implementation shouldn't be horrible
2 - Players who buy Energy (with Feez, etc) get a major advantage, and thus it becomes tempting to purchase Energy
3 - When a player cannot manage to win an auction, and thus do not get a prize w/out significant work, they are not frustrated with Feerik, they become frustated with other players.
4 - Yet, despite #3, free players DO still get something, so they won't complain (as much)
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I truly enjoy the Adventure mode, however have been frustrated with the recent changes as there isn't, currently, a real motivation to play. Hopefully a solution exists that can support this for a long time to come.

Note:
A similar system was talked about in passing by another player on the English forums, and I though it was brilliant- I am merely taking this one step further and developing it into a real/workable proposal. Pat yourself on the back for such a good base idea.
If Feerik wants to slow the flow of cards, make it less likely to drop normal cards, and higher chances on the old event cards and whatnot, wich lowers the influence of Adventure Mode on booster sales.
+1, or something like it.
I get the whole point of decreasing the rewards to decrease benefits to freebies. However, but when one runs the risk of getting nothing/zip/zero/nada, the desire to *ever* purchase extra energy is absolutely zero.
While Feerik may be unhappy with people getting cards for free, this recent change has effectively made one's desire to buy energy also go to zero. Thus, the adventure mode becomes a zero benefit for them, and the project manager in me recommends they stop throwing resources at it all together.
--A
Alright, I'm sorry but this is ridiculous.
If you need to reduce the number or frequency of rewards, that's your call and it's fine. But you should, then, at least increase the % chance of getting the specific reward cards for said campaign.
For example, if it used to be that it was 10% chance of getting a "Spirit of __" or "Mystic Shadow" as a reward, then fine. But now that we only have a 33% chance (or whatever) of getting a reward, that makes it practically impossible (not to mention frustrating as all hell) of getting the campaign-specific rewards.
Please cut us some slack here?
Thanks for your consideration.
--A
Yeah...
While I acknowledge the desire/need for the designers to decrease the 'free' flow of cards, having 0 rewards seems kind of a bummer.
Zero reward for beating some of those lyhard bosses is pretty rough, and I'm getting nothing 2/3 times currently (although to be fair it's a small dataset, I've only had about 5 victories in last 3 days or so).

I was lucky.
He played the wrong cards at the right time.
I got the Forced March's early enough to pretty much nullify all his damage.By the time he started playing Scarab Swarm, I had hit him with Punishing the Unpure a few times, such that it barely damaged me.
I also kept one or two Litany up at all times, making my Spirit decent.
I was also lucky with his random "permanent removal" ability. It is a very frustrating boss because of how random your odds are to beat him.
With Burning Soul deck, if those cards are at the end of the deck you lose.
With TG, if Forced March is at the end of the deck you lose.
The list goes on.The one time I beat him without much luck needed was Burning Soul.
He has 0 defense, and like any Nomad should have a tough time with Sap multi-hit I would think. Haven't been able to play this deck, though, since I've been unable to snag a Melissandre (other priorities keep coming up
).

Thanks for the clarification!

ashman a écrit :I actually beat him a second time last night, and no reward. Interesting others are having this issue as well. Maybe they changed the reward system now?
--A
I'm pretty sure they said the rewards were random.
Thank you for clarifying. However, I think you are not getting what I/we were saying. I was not saying "Hey I beat him give me my $*(@ Shadow", I am saying "I beath him and got no reward, period".
I used to get 2-3 cards (or XP, favors, whatever) when beating a boss. Now, there seem to be less frequent rewards, and in many cases none at all. This appears global, and others have noticed the same thing and supported my statements in the last 1-2 days.
Thus, I think our comments/questions are legitimate. They are not complaints that need correcting, merely observations to provide data to ourselves/the community on something that is Beta, and can change w/out warning/notice.
Thank you,

Just got a second Mystic Slayers Shadow? Thought that couldn't happen?
I've seen a couple diferent players with multiple copies of "picnic", so I suppose that multiple copies must happen. Haven't seen doubles of the 'Spirit of __' yet, though, but I doubt many people use that card in reality.
--A
Maybe, that's bout the only way this would seem fair to me. Otherwise everyone else will have got a huge boost BEFORE this but them! Am I the only one who this bothers??
I'm sure it bothers all the other speculators in the market.
Did anyone notice the lack of [card]Vital Syphon[/card] in the marketplace Tuesday night, then the surplus (although still high-priced) on Wednesday after the announcement?
Turnabout like that makes me smile sometimes.

tsoutai with ROD
+1 on this.
Tsoutai have pretty amazing flexibility, not only can they hit you with RoD/Fireball and then still smack you, they are absolute mage killers with Katamaru.
Plus, when alive Ayako prevents them from having their attack reduced, which even gives you a fighting chance against discard.
And as a bonus, while it takes a fair amount of leveling/grinding, you can put the main 3 characters together rather cheaply. The supporting cards will run you a little more, but all in all it's a super-fun deck, 75% competitive when played smartly, and probably one of the best 'benefit for cost' decks out there.
Big heart Tsoutai.

I beat the Kotoba boss with only one guy left and got 4 cards, so at least with him that's not the case.
Can anyone tell me what Geleine needs (if anything) for his upgrade path(s)?
Trying to determine if his purchase is worth the trouble.
Thanks,

This has been just awesome. Giving multiples of the key support cards is much, much appreciated.
Can't wait for this Ursyd character. I was told he's been spoiled on some of the other forums, but my cursory search didn't find anything other than the 'image in progress'. Anyone have any details for him?
Thanks again for this event,
