That event was an absolute blast. I wasn't able to get any major reward cards, but it STILL was super-enjoyable.

I'm relatively certain that all of this is related to the increased people (and decreased speed) of the game this whole weekend.
I was logging in to check if someone had logged a bug complaint about the speed, but this is pretty similar.

I played this type of deck for a long time when I was first starting out (I used Hares instead of Gakyusha because I couldn't afford him at time). So I have a bit of experience and would like to suggest a few notes/opinions for consideration.
Weapons:
The Emperor's Speech x1
Emerald Sword x1
Tessen x2
Drop Emerald sword for Taichi (sp?) Sword
Armor:
Imperial Armor x3
So, I totally get the allure of a +3 armor. However, this doesn't activate until the end of the fight. Since like 90% of games are over by turn 6 nowadays, this really only gives you +3 defense. And, if you get FTK'd because on Turn 1 you get no bonus, this card is a waste.
In my opinion it's much more useful to use a shield/armor that activates immediately. Yeah, it might only supply +1/+2, but if you think about it, over the course of two turns it cumulatively gives you just as much.
The other option, obviously, is the Kotoba action card that activates a weapon/armor immediately and heals 2 points (Stand your guard, or something like that).

This list is OK, I don't really have any great suggestions for low-cost options. I am a huge fan of [card]The Best Defense...[/card]

Ok, after this long maintenance, first game out I got Hirimnir.
During that game he also didn't play Agumdar's rage or Icy Aura. Very strange.

Because the points increase as time goes on, there is actually no benefit to winning early (it actually gives the other side an advantage).
No reason to play in this battle until the last 3 days.

I cannot express in full my hatred for this campaign.
I'm up to 33 recorded wins, plus my perfect, and that doesn't count the games I had won BEFORE I got frustrated enough to start counting, which was Sunday.
If I'm not at 50 I'm darn close. Are we sure that the bug-fix didn't reset our count?

What's more, is that I highly suspect that if I played the Kotoba boss (or any other) and won 33 times, I'd have gotten the campaign-specific drop by now.

I agree with point 1. No one says to give away rares on each battle but a higher uncommon drop rate would be a nice incentive to continue playing the missions until they are over.
But regarding point 2.
Some players from other communities have found a couple of smart alternate decks. So there is more the 2 options circulated on this thread. (DMR and the Solaris eclispe)
Besides DMR has been staple for adventure since this mode came out so there's really no excuse for those who haven't gotten the extremely cheap cards for that deck by now. (the supply of cards is abundant when there isn't a new campaign)
Again, my craftsman port deck is whooping up on him - 80% plus. Especially since, after the bug, he does in fact (as earlier stated) seeming to be playing Agumdar's Rage first turn far more often.

Backpack x3 (this just lets me attach, with chain, and keep cards out of discard)
Picnic x3 (keeps the guys alive on the odd turns)
Strategy is pretty simple - hold off on your Ports until he rages, then multi-kill him. Use your non-Mechanist as fodder, since he/she can't play detonation. He stacks cards pretty fast. I don't think I've ever beaten him with anyone alive, but I can pretty consistently get him to like -50 health which is good enough for a win.
Of course, all that said I still haven't dropped the SOB.

You really need to work on another solution, sth that is less half-hearted.
You're also assuming, Sapphon, that people kept a detailed count of how many games they've won. I, for example, didn't start counting until I was already quite frustrated.
Not to mention that 50 wins is roughly 3.8 days worth of energy, assuming you don't miss a minute and win every game. Sheesh.

This is pretty insane.
I have right around 25 wins on him after this weekend of play, and still no Hirimnir (several of those are perfeccts, as well, not that that matters with Hirimnir).
Not going to say this is the worst event ever, since Scragh will probably forever hold that one, but not having a distinct set goal is borderline insulting. "Nah, c'mon guys, just keep playing and we'll give it to you eventually". Pssh.

I finally beat this SOB with a mechanist port deck.
But 80% win-rate? Not seeing it w/out Dazzle, as mentioned previously.
And a perfect? Sheesh. Guess I'm not getting that pretty little crown to give to my Aelide boss-farming deck.

To clarify:
The 'next in' timer keeps counting down. However, when it reaches the 0:00 to give +1 and reset to 5:00, it does not give the plus one.

So I had held off on buying the b-day pack until this release, just to get a chance of getting one or two.
However I went to buy last night, and noticed that the 'cards available' (as per the button in the store) in the bday booster, and also in the non-newcomers and non-Legion boosters also don't include the new release.
I'm assuming this is a bug and not actually true, but can someone please confirm that you have a chance of getting the new release cards in the bday booster?

This is happening to me as well.
My cards are not in French, just the in-game language. So to clarify -- my cards still appear and read in English. BUt all the game popups (confirm to pay 23 energy to start mission, continue, post, etc) is all in French language.
So please don't treat Col. like a moron -- he's not lying or incorrect.

Help needed, guys.
What's the trick to the Pilkim mission? I just ran them out of discard, and he had 4 health left. Then the mission ended (as expected) but it was a defeat.
Do the two other characters have to die? People on here had said they won via discard, so I am confused.
Any feedback is appreciated.
