As far as I can tell, most players use adventure mode to farm the boss for possible cards. Therefore we should adjust/expand adventure mode.

Offer quests in adventure that tie to the storyline. Daily quests/storyline quests or even quizzes that require some knowledge of the eredan itcg universe. Most of the new players that play this game, check the comments in kongregate, many aren't even aware of the storyline behind the cards.

Randomize the boss mode. Offer an normal/hard/extreme mode and offer better/guaranteed prizes for higher difficulties.

As some others have said, offering a limited amount of fee'z that can be obtained from the boss each month (120-140) would allow free players a chance to sell their cards. This would increase the supply of cards in the marketplace which would decrease the high prices and allow players to sell and buy more frequently.

Make the cards tradable when dropped by bosses since 1000 untradable cards aren't going to help anybody, old or new if they can't make a playable deck out of it. I realize that people can buy from the marketplace and then mix, but a new player doesn't have much crystals and the drops from adventure tend to be characters and cards that most decks don't need.

Well these are some ideas that I just thought of, just consider it... Adventure mode is great, most card games online don't have this sort of system but right now (I realize its in beta), it just feels like an enormous tutorial.

We have a lot of threads about drops from bosses so we should organize it into 1 thread. Just list the best/useful drops (anything difficult to obtain or viable in elo) you have gotten and which boss you have gotten them from. Please don't mention the 2 possible rewards (strength of "guild" for example) or exp rewards. Also try to limit yourself to 1 post, use edit when you get something else worth mentioning.

I guess the purpose of thread is to see whether boss drops are truly random or a certain group of cards drops for a certain boss and which boss gives the best drops.

Kotoba boss: 3x fragments of chimera, demonic-blade, Rose of Serenity
Sap boss: The Council's decision, In the name of Dragon

Stone King: Infernal Cricket

Malandrin (Zahal's mission): conquer or perish, Keizan

I think the players who get perfect vs bosses and then get an eredan favor which they don't need if they get a perfect should get some or all energy back

special eredan favor (foil, worth 15 feez) = 15-23 energy
basic eredan favor = 1-8 energy

$9.95 for 1 month
$24 for 3 months
$40 for 6 months
$60 for 1 year

features:
-sell at marketplace without buying a booster
-120 energy cap and/or faster energy recovery
-access to certain events perhaps (that require fee'z)
-auto training in training room (you must be online, in room, will have a box that says autofight, click it once per battle with each player, 2 versions play no cards and full discard or fight)
-obtain a special card that makes an nonexchangeable card salable every 2 months or foil, option to choose 1 or the other (would encourage longer vip)
-word bubble next to your potrait where you can make a comment (ex. trying to get trophy, testing a new deck)

#5 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Broken marketplace » 28-12-2011 06:19:15

I'm not asking for compensation at all. The issue with the marketplace is lack of supply or packs bought or sold. Particularily older packs.

As for tax, the buyer should be taxed, not the seller. After all if someone has to pay the tax, its the person contributing less. Seller will pass on cost if they are taxed. If they aren't well they will likely sell more, no?

As for adventure mode, not everyone can farm the boss, especially new players due to lack of possible cards on market/packs. Have you seen how many perversions/demon may rise/demon may rise are on the marketplace lately?? Few and the few that are are priced almost at max due to high demand, low supply.

Exp cards from packs are obsolete due to adventure mode dropping 100 xp/200 xp.

I'm not asking for better drop rates in boosters or even adventure mode. It wouldn't solve anything. After all the cards are inexchangable in adventure and most people would keep their cards in the current market. All I'm saying is an option shoud be allowed for more players to sell cards. Cheaper boosters would help a little. But in the end, it only e benefits a portion of the playerbase. The people who spend.

In eredan's defense, online card games allow you to play against anyone you want at anytime, globally, charging higher prices is ok if it gives a tangible benefit.

Ideas
1. Everyone should be able to sell 1-4 cards a day, reset at the end of each day for free players. Formula =  lvl divided by 5 or 10, rounded up.

2. everyone can sell common cards until level 16 where they can then sell uncommon cards. Paying players could sell any type of card when they buy a booster.

I would rather people try to contribute what could or can work. Different ideas. Lets avoid compensation for the duration of this thread since its such a touchy subject and is difficult to implement because how long/much would they have to compensate each individual player? It would take a long time, time developers should be spending on something useful.

P.s I have bought feez, and I'm sure most of people who are on forums a lot have. Eredan itcg is a great game, just the marketplace is the only problem that prevents most people from enjoying it more.

As we begin to enter a new year, the marketplace which is essential to playing is monopolized and card prices are skyhigh. More and more cards are gone or too expensive for most causual players.

Reasons?

-Its pretty easy to monopolize a market with a low supply of cards.
-Most new players are buying newcomers pack as more advertising, new cards are priced with a high min due to new market system and better odds. Prices fall but they take a couple days

-every week releases seem to have a negative effect on marketplace, certain cards/decks are made much useful and cards are then increased in price permantly and become scarcer. (Nehanist release = few demonic cloud/lvl 3 ripper, just an example there are plenty more)

-buying packs with crystals aren't really worth it, the odds of getting something useful are very low, a new player would be really hardpressed to make a usuable deck, older players can just buy froms marketplace since they know it

-10% tax favors buyers, sellers are the one spending real $$, why they being punished? Get better rewards, perhaps past event item as a promotion rather than exp cards...

-income tax on everyone rather than a sales tax. 5-10% a month on your duplicates or more than 3 of the same cards. That way people with excessive cards are monopolizing the market are discouraged

Am I being paranoid or will things get better? Personally I've never seen prices go up this high since playing for 4 months...

theres a severe lack of cards needed to upgrade certain characters/other cards, so I think we need a booster just for that purpose.

As for pricing, thats up to you guys of course but heres my idea on that.

Basic material booster 35 feez for 1 card random

Standard material booster 250 feez for 5 cards, guranteed rare, plus chance to win 1 material card (common, uncommon, rare variation, and nontradable can substitute for any card combination ex, uncommon can substitute for as a fireball along with your free one to get 1 rain of death)

prices will go down on all cards needed to upgrade allowing more cards at lower prices. I realize that everyone wants the biggest bang for their buck, paying players who buy packs and sell cards for crystals but would everyone prefer high prices or lower prices overall?

#13 Re : Update list » Changes to the MARKETPLACE!! » 18-10-2011 07:56:37

Reason for 30% tax math, how it affects multi accounts

Main account is called A
Alt account is called B, lets say alt account has 20k

____________________________________________
Old market

A sells a common/uncommon card that only has a few copies, ex barrel for armanda for 20k to B

A recieves 18k
90% crystals transfered
1 common/uncommon card stuck in alt account which you wont spend money on
_____________________________________________
New market

A sells 4 copies of magical hat or w/e its called for 5k each
A gets 14k

B then instant sells all for 5k more

A then sells another magical hat to B for 5k
A recieves 3.5k

A get 17.5 total
85% of crystals transfered, 5 rare cards used

____________________________________________

basically if tax was any lower, multi accounts would gain more crystals than old version = inflation, but newer version reduces number of cards since its being destroyed

result being less cards in circulation. Also this could easily be repeated using common/uncommon cards, it would just take a lot more time/effort.

#14 Suggestions » faster training » 16-10-2011 19:29:55

proposal: 7 card hands instead of 5 in order to speed up gameplay in the training room which only rewards exp

benefits: 4 turns if you do full discard rather than 5, faster gameplay with more cards to use each turn = easier to level up characters

drawbacks:

1. people may start selling more evolved cards

response: as a result of easier leveling, prices should fall, more supply also since its easier to level, people may find the time to level a character is cheaper than buying already evolved one and winning the battles instead of training

2. players who spend a little feez and spend most of time leveling characters for crystals would be disadvantaged

response: people will still buy evolved cards just at a lower cost, since you can level more cards at a lower profit, it may possibly even out

3. exp cards would be of less value

response: you can still use them, feerik can either offer higher exp cards or a extra common card as bonus with each pack, especially items since many of them are needed to evolve cards and as a result are scare despite being classified as common (ex. powder keg, dagger, flail, to name a few)

Conclusion
Although I have been playing for just 2 weeks I think the majority of players would benefit from a faster training room, since when we get new characters or items/spells, ect... we want to use them in leveling rooms/elo and tournaments, not spend a lot of time leveling them up for nothing.
