With pirate powder I have reched 1885 with pirate keg golem i've got to 183x. I do believe when you can get there 18xx you can make it to 1900... you just need to luck out and win 7 games...(if you wana play pirate you better hope you are lucky~~)

They can win against most decks but discards... becuase putting keg up using up too many cards...

So right now they having a hard time because discard is everywhere....
I'm not sure in current meta I'd have any luck going over 1800 though...

with so many disgusting discard decks... i don't even wana try~~~

I've played a lot of decks.

There are things I want to address.

1. Speed of the game.

It is really slow for a such fast game. Yes! this is a huge factor.
I don't have time to grind 300 games a week not because I don't have time, but the speed of the game makes me really difficult to focus on the game.

2. Deck types and adjustments

Since The pack that has no legendary card can make 2nd place in ELO and Pirates can go 1900 every week. I do believe it's not the problem with cost of the deck. It's how you understand your deck for the most part. Figure out what to do in each meta-game and test to see what choice are the better choices. The rest falls on "Focus ! Play ! " Anything that can make 1800 should be able to go top 10. The rest falls on little adjustments that you needs to make when facing the top 10 meta-game. Whether it's circus, pirates, priests, eternal, immortal. Does not matter much, just fight it out~ Decks that can not deal with anything usually loses.... with all these trophy cards available. Adjustments are just easy....

3. This week with the huge banning list, mages are out of sight (there weren't that many anyway). Circus is still everywhere but other discards has vanished. A few pirates (which i love) A few sap heart. The pack is still playable. some crows running around not making it there and immortal got a lot harder to kill. (without a few key damage cards those little roaches are scary)

Ok~ I've got the question in my mind forever.... port is banned since i don't know when... I don't know why it got banned for life.

Net decking doesn't win you the game! Maybe when you first come and testing the flavor of decks. But believe me, without testing it yourself and play it hundreds of games.
You will not win! Trust your deck and do some minor adjustment. You will make it!

I am a huge fan of theme decks. As castes is pretty much themed from head to toe! I wish them not need to be competitive but complete with it's own way!!

- Have you already played the caste Deck, if yes which one(s) ?

Crow (new mage and old claws) Witchblade (too hot to not have one) Eclipse (competetive but not because of their theme, they only have 2 crappy cards) The Pack (new lunation really good and old warriors just cool) Mechenics (hell competitive if you unban port and fix detnation) Tempus (great theme deck for sure) Tsutai (very fun going mage or marader) Tracker (well themed but not clear on the way it goes)

- Did you prefer a certain caste character like Avaloniens (Aez) or Hares The Runic ?

do not understand this... they have no caste... do you mean having the same character with different version?

- Do you think that the castes are competitive enough on ELO? If yes, at what point and with which tools?

Eclipse is competetive but it's with all the cards not in the caste
The pack with lunation is competetive enough. Since there are very few mages around
Tsutai is almost there.
Tracker just dies... with the cool  [card]to track down[/card] i wish i can get to the 3rd round without running out of cards and life.

- What do you think of the involvement of the caste characters in the storyline of Eredan?

ofcause. Castes are cool and since they have unique cards they should have unique stories

- Do you have comments or suggestions that you would like us to know about concerning the castes?

Sap heart needs castes. I believe it's easier to manage card strength with castes involved.

Pirates needs castes of some sort. I've made many theme decks with Pirates but none of them center around caste.

Eclipse have almost no caste card. They should have some kind of theme

World-tree does nothing... no cards that work with them.

Some of the caste has pretty good outcome ex: witchblade, dragon knight.
Mainly because they have cards that works around them and a focus of what they will become.

Pirate Craft analysis

Craft always seems expansive because of Multitasking. Every Craft deck needs 2-3 of these.

Klementine – two version Port and Nut.
Clover – Warrior + craftsmen. The Key character in decks related to “The Powder Keg.

Sample deck – Crafter goes nuts~~
Character – Nut, Klementine, Ica Rusty
Main cards-
Ica-Rusty’s Mechanical arm *3 – 18000*3
Port *3 – 10000*3
Multitasking*2- 40000*2
Time Bomb*3-700*3
Detonation*3- 500*3
Overload*2- 350*3
Firon*2- 1000*2
Master craftsman*1- 6500
Total : 176,800 + 48000


Fun Fat Mechanical Golems. Not very good (due to all these defense removal and item hates) but really fun.

Explode them with port and see them craying when you have fat golems.
Firon can change to some defensive item if you want to stay alive EX: Runic Gunlet



Double Crafter Version – Building Scrappy Rusty (exchange nut with Jorus)
Character – Jorus, Klementine, Ica Rusty
Main cards-
Ica-Rusty’s Mechanical arm *3 – 18000*3
Port *3 – 10000*3
Multitasking*3- 40000*3
Time Bomb*2-700*2
Detonation*3- 500*3
Good Jorusien*3- 1000*3
Master craftsman*3- 6500
Total : 229400 + 33000

With 2 craftsman and more defensive stuff, we still try to survive and let port to eat them up

These are mainly fun stuff with kicks. I love port myself but since the "big ban." I've learn that they'll never let me use port ever again.

Pirates!!!

General guide for pirates

For this guide, I will not go into too many general cards and trophies. But some essential parts will still be accounted

1. Characters

1.1 warriors
Poukos – useless can use water spells... as someone pointed out. Water spells are best to defense and 1 very important spell to know!!! FREEZE

Nut – Mechanist Golem – great in mechanist deck and pirate golem deck

Captain Al Killcrew – the head of pirates comes with 2 versions of lv4, Powder and anti mage. Most people uses Powder. Great in all powder decks. Good status and chain pirate item, allows her to have the best survivability among the pirates.

Clover – Warrior + craftsmen. The Key character in decks related to “The Powder Keg.” Very fun character to play.

1.2 marauders

Lil Laddie – 6/11 attack is the only shinny spot, if you feel lucky you can one shot anyone.

Briscar – gives powder every fight. Can be used in “The Powder Keg”.

Hook – two version Powder, anti shadow magic. Most people use powder.

Gemeye – the Key marauder to keep your Marauders alive. +1 spirit and +1 defense to your other pirate marauders.

1.3 mages

Ardranis – Mage marauder. Very cool ability to allow your character to do two hits.

Lightning-beak – I have never tried it.
Mylad – very good ability and high spirit.

Bragan – two version lightning and fire. Fire is used in “powder deck”. Lightning is in mage deck.

1.4 craftsmen

Klementine – two version Port and Nut.

Clover – see warrior.

1.5 Unknown

Armada – The Cannon Girl “the tank girl”. Key in “Teaching powder deck”, “Powder deck.”

I like escaping death as at times when you facing some rediculous stupid stuff... it wins you the game.

Claw is pretty much just there becauses there are times when "you stupid dumb people who don't have high spirits" have high defense. And Claw lets me kill them with ease~~~

I actually find it better than the IHAS deck.
For 3 reason~~~

1. nature high defence
2. Items you can actually use
3. Kick off as early as 3rd turn

Also that I like throw weapon that you can hit units that you want to target. With weapon at will, you don't nassasary needs to play weapon at will to kill. Just equipting good items sometimes is enough.

I agree that hailwalker is not very good in this.
Because Sap Heart have very limited chain cards, maybe a version with dagger would make hailwalker playable. In that case you'd want 2 weapon chainer thus all spirit dependent spells become pretty useless.

Consider doing Arachnophobia + Magic Attack is really strong in Sap mage. I do love sap mages really much.

I do like rockspeaker very much. He is pretty much a melee mage. I've tested with some items including rage potion and mask. I believe he can be pretty beefy very quickly. But with these item the deck become really unstable.

I am going to test with dagger item version after I get ember dagger.

I would like to have a room where you only have 10 seconds to chose a card. If you lag, don't play in the speed room.

I hate the fact that it takes forever to finish a turn...

speed and lag needs to be fixed...

Mages are not op by themselves.... mages aren't even powerful without the right spells...

mages are very strong in meta because...

ANTI SPELL is not the most important thing in your deck....
Right now you don't have a very good way to defend against spells but even if you do, you will never use it.

that's what makes mages being overpowered because no one focus on defend against magic.

1st spell always chains...

2nd most powerful status modifier card for non mages/priest is 5 and most of them are 3. spell can easily top that

3rd character ability. most warriors are "item chain" marader is "+attack against" priest is "bonus status for allie" mage is "all kind of stuff"

how does howl work in the deck? i don't get it.

does it gets the bonus from anything? or just a 3/3 4/4 5/5attack?

also why would anyone want a +2+3+2 bonus using two cards? don't you think having a little of everything is pretty weak in a all out attacking pack?

actually maurader version with wild looks decent but going defensive with pack is just.... not gana keep you alive..

does the bonus attack...
the number of beast (max 3) + the number of howls (max 3)

A new attack means have to go through defense.

If i play 3 on one character does it attack 3 extra times?

normally it'd do 3 dmg and have to go through defense.... really weak for a cool new card....

so the real question is... does this card adds bonus from character ability and cards effect?

Some people may say 3 fiery sword is too many. But if you can't draw it fast enough and miss your first round fiery sword, it would hurt a lot to this deck. It usually relay on using fiery sword and magic attack for one kill at least.
