I'm surprised no one has mentioned the change to experience. I think that is the biggest reason for the decline in market place prices. There used to be a huge difference for, lets say a lvl 1 character and a lvl 4. I remember pilkim being sold for 100 at lvl 1 and like 50k and lvl 4 cause it took super long to level him. A good gain on xp for a match was like 4-6. Now, you get that just for losing lol. This killed the character resell market and pretty much destroyed a lot of peoples way of making crystals. Now, the vast majority of owners with lots of crystals are the same who are buying packs every week and don't need to spend a lot in the market. Less traffic means lower prices.

I'm sorry but the situation has not "improved in recent days", it has only gotten worse. It's so bad that I can't even keep my fair play up high enough to enter elo rooms or tournaments (which are still fail btw). Three times in the last hour I have entered the elo room and been paired with an opponent. First turn the game lags me out. It's not my connection, I have a 50 Mbps connection which is working fine. So I lag out of an elo match, lose elo rating, and I cannot re-enter cause my fair play isn't high enough. So I play two meaningless matches in the regular rooms, re-enter the elo room, and lag out turn 1. When I have been able to enter tournaments the last couple of days half my matches end with "This game could not start due to an error". Everyone playing is getting this multiple times during a tournament (Which still suck btw). This is on top of the normal lag that happens when more than 1100+ people are connected. So I'm happy you are aware of the situation and are trying to do something but....IT AIN'T WORKIN.

This worked me yesterday with a 10xp card. I tried it again today with some large denominations but it didn't work. Anyone varify if they changed it?

You just need to experience some other characters a little more. There are quite a few characters with high def and spr, ie The Shadow, any of the noz mages, trackers, etc. What you say is true, the combo of Theurgy-Spell-Attack is strong, but it's not overpowered in any way. There are ways to combat it just like most other combos in game.

I guess I don't fully understand your question. The way void used to work is that when you played it, the card that you voided back into play was played immediately. Now, when you void a card, the opponent gets to play his next card in line before your voided card activates. Does that make sense? (Asking sincerely)

Have you even used the card before? Used to be whichever card was voided was immediately played by said player. This has nothing to do with chaining. It doesn't have any effect on Bolts. It works like this. Lets say I go first and play any card that chains. Then the other player plays his first card. Then I play hungry void. It used to be that my voided card was immediately played. Now, the void is played, you pick which card you want to bring back, but it isn't activated till after the opponent has played his 2nd card. Meaning just what the dev notes said, it's the 3rd card played. Pretty straight forward. Not sure where you're at. And the card you picked has always had to be playable, non-playable cards are greyed out and not able to be chosen. Which leaves me to ask you again, have you ever used the card?

You bringing this topic up explicitly contradicts your reasoning in point A. Now more players will do it than before because you've informed them on how it's done. You are going out of your way to get rid of it or you wouldn't have made this post, so what you said in B is invalid. In C you say it doesn't have to be gotten rid of but that is exactly what your intention was when you made this post a few days ago. You say that players who don't use the system have a disadvantage but I say that players who don't spend money have a much larger one. Should we get rid of feez due to the fact that majority of players don't spend money cause, while they have the abililty, the opportunity is not there or vice-versa? The player base will not flucuate at all due to this type of play. If anything, it's gone up a ton in the last few weeks.

Couldn't agree more with the original poster. They need an upgrade, even when more witchblades cards/characters come out. Doesn't make sense to have 2 cards combine and be worse than the 2 originals. I thought his idea of having them be on par with golemarlok is a perfect idea, not that it'll ever happen, but ya.

He's pretty underwhelming for a 4 character evo. His stats make him well rounded but great at nothing. The rest of the tempus characters aren't good enough to use so his +1 def bonus is useless. His turn orders are pretty terrible. I will say his high health with a balance spr and def are nice but where does he fit in? I'd like to hear some ideas of any existing deck he makes better or a new deck that can compete.

It's not unplayable outside of nomads. The best priest in the game is a merc. Exaltation is really the only heal they need. Why throw in more single target heals when exaltation heals everyone? High lvl priest decks thrive on prolonging the battle and decking your opponent. Build a deck around that idea and you'll see the current mix of cards is enough.

It's not bunny always, but mostly. Fallback is good meta against elfines and double attack but not many run that right now.

Any plans on making some existing cards available to craftsman? I know you'll be releasing more craftsman specific cards in the future, I'd just like to know if you'll be changing any existing ones so craftsman can use them. Smash that Iron is the only one that is multi-class.

Ya, the original stated zil list is pretty poor. Makes me wonder if he's ever run it in a real tournament or elo room. Rathedan was spot on with the 14 cards or so he mentioned. As for flavor cards, I like DSH, Storm, Camp, Bunny, Hungry Void, Obesity, maybe some Kot hate instead of Camp. Nothing too original, the stuff just works. It gives you a fighting chance against Noz mage (Close to 50%, depending on noz deck and player) and a better than 50% win against Kot warrior. Those are really gonna be your two toughest matchups.

I agree that changes definitely need to be made but there is a huge banner that says BETA right as you enter the tournament room so bugs and imbalances are to be expected. I mean, I just finished 4th in a tournament with 9 wins and had a lag out on turn 5 of a game I was going to win and on turn 3 of another I would have won. Those are just the breaks.

As far as the actual tournament goes, I don't have a problem with entry fee or prizes. I don't think it's really worth playing all that often but that's just me. I can make more crystals by simply leveling up characters. The win condition is crap. It hinges on a lot of things that are out of a players control, ie slow play by opponent, disconnects, getting paired against stall decks, etc. I think that a single elimination format with limited registration is in order. The tournaments could still have an hour time limit, which I think is nice. I remember playing some MTGO tourneys that go on forever. Any great TCG has tournaments and the trick is just getting them balanced right. Instead of flaming the current environment, just point out what you think can be fixed and help the devs explore this new play option.

I second this. Sitting in an empty room is not fun. If the number of room participants showed then it would give us some idea as to if we are about to get a game or not. I'll definitely stay in the room if 2 people are already there dueling because odds are that at least one of them will re-enter when their match is done. If I cannot see the number in the room then I might be sitting in an empty room wasting my time.
