My observation: More tax == less crystal gain -> less crystal gain == less crystal in circulation -> less crystal in circulation == less buying power -> less buying power == lower card prices

I'm intrigued and will see if this is true for weeks to come smile

I hate to break it to ya, but if we all have less buying power plus a decrease in the cost of cards, we are at the same level of purchasing power as before.  The real hit comes from buying boosters, where you spend the same amount of REAL money, then lose 30% of the equivalent game value!

Not only this but if you are not getting the price you want for a card then you are not going to sell it. If I have paid 50K for a fireball and in the futture I am forced to sell it for 20K do you think I will be wanting to do it?

Maybe, when a lot of time have passed and all the prices have lowered a lot people will start selling again because a bit something is better than anything but how long does it going to be? God knows

True... God knows if the price will regulate but from the changes, it has higher chance to regulate. Personally, I think the market place was abused by multi-accounts, hence the higher inflation. And of course card scarcity with each new release.

I too bought my Fireballs at ridiculous high price. BUT I played with them regularly,  and had fun with them. I won't sell it as I will need it in my decks anyway. With potential lower price for cards in the future, I will not need to sell my cards to fuel a new deck.

I'm sure they will fix the card scarcity soon. Act-based booster is the best logical next step (I hope tongue).

EDIT: From previous post, I noticed someone suggesting less 30% on boosters. That might soothe players that has lost 30% of the profit (maybe?) on crystals. But to be honest, a virtual crystals? I don't mind spending once a while if the booster is priced right. Having 30% permanently will 'entice' more player to buy booster. Casual player like me just find the current booster priced too expensive for virtual card and virtual currency.

Re : Changes to the MARKETPLACE!!

It kills me when people talk about this game and "profit"....you buy packs of random cards.  It's not like Magic:The Gathering, where I can turn around and sell the singles I don't want for actual cash.  I sell the Eredan singles I don't want for crystals, which I then can use to buy singles I want.  Yes I agree that the marketplace will be in upheaval for a couple of weeks.

but honestly, you weren't going to cash out your collection for cash before, and you're not going to do it now.  I agree that the 30% tax is excessive, and would like to hear more background into why they feel it is necessary without some other form of offset, whether it is more crystals for wins/losses, or whatever.

Heck I recall back when WoTC decided to reprint my 40-50 dollar rares in fourth edition MtG and Chronicles...bothered the heck out of me.  Sold my collection and cashed out...With Eredan, I'm not feeling any wheres near that, since these electronic cards hold NO CASH VALUE

Fine...You want to ruin such a wonderfully made game? I can do this too. I have personally spent FAR more money than morally acceptable on this game...Consider that at an end. Not another dime will come from my pocket until you start actually listening to the players of this game and taking their ideas as advice. I dont care what you think the best route to take is because its not you that plays this game. It is us, the players, who fund this game and suffer from your horrible decisions. I know I'm not the only person thinking the same, but I may be the only person to let you know how we all feel. Enjoy missing the few grand I may have been spending.

I TOTALLY AGREE with this. I'm COMPLETELY new to the game, I started less than a week ago. I've spent $100 US Dollars on this and I was told about your increase in Auction House taxes. 10-30% tax increase? Wow. If this was a government/country, you'd get a rebellion and a civil war EXTREMELY quickly with that sort of increase.

Well, I understand that it isn't so.. Instead? I'll be boycotting purchasing feez from your guys in the future. I've spent more than what was acceptable in the first place. I certainly WON'T be spending anymore money on this game. As much as I'd love to see this game grow and flourish and become better than it is.. it won't be funded by my wallet anymore.

Who gets the AH tax % anyway? Nobody. The fee is being imposed to drive up Feez purchases so that we, in turn, get more cards and you, in turn, make a larger profit off of your already struggling but yet supportive customer base. I hope other people see this bullshit and take notice and also boycott purchasing GAME CURRENCY just to be screwed in the wallet by this outrageous tax increase.

SERIOUSLY. 10-30%?! Bullshit. Absolutely and utter bullshit.

TL;DR?     This decision is bullshit. I won't be buying any more Feez. Good luck supporting your own game.

(sadly in at the spanish section yo cant even thing about complain coz they erase or close you topic ,an you dont have right to express your self)

Hahaha, that was pretty great!  The thing that really got to me was that they announced all these changes, what, a week ago?  So we all got excited and looked forward to a promising new marketplace.

Oh, wait...did they leave out some information in the initial announcement?  Why, YES!  The 30% increase!  Funny how they just slipped that in there right in the bottom, hoping we wouldn't noctie!!

In most places, that's called rape....

So know we all know why Dantesan left, he doesn't have the heart to see his beloved community reaction would be after the market update.. at least he should've told us this 'change' is coming.. sad

In this context 'change' sounds more like fraud --'

Wow you really screwed up big now.
1. 30% tax.
2. You still have to buy feez to sell.
3. You probably ended monopolies but you probably just angered your entire player base.

I've read all your concerns, and really thank all of you for expressing them without blind rage or killing intents ;p I'll try to make you a longer answer tomorrow and hope it'll answer some questions.

Actually a protest is one of the most mature ways to deal with such situation.

They want profit (d'oh .. it's their job). You stop buying -> they get lesser profit -> they start listening to demands ...

30% tax is simple called - theft. I will never again buy anything from Feerik for cash (until tax is set to 10%). If we all do the same we will see who will be laughing at the end:) Feerik is killing Eredan like Zynga killed Warstorm. Listen ppl - DO NOT BUY PACKS, Feerik will have to give up.
