Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Where are all The Art of Tracking?

Let me guess, some rich ass bought them all to try to make us buy the upgraded Kotori Kages at high prices?

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Remember that you can't buy a card in the market if you already have 10 of it in your collection.

Also when a card becomes necessary to upgrade a character the staff takes this card off the market during maintenance to leave the choice to the people having some to sell them or keep them. So I would guess that for the time being people tend to keep their arts of tracking. Probably waiting for the price to go up.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Wich is why the Marketplace fails.

The Marketplace should weight in the amount of cards that exist, and the amount of players that have them when deciding the "actual" supply and demand.

Someone who has 3 of a card would not count towards the "demand".
Someone who has more than 3 of a card should count towards the "supply".

The supply and demand should be the real deal, not manipulated by monopolists.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Did you read what I wrote ? You can't establish a monopolism if you're limited to 10 for each card !

Also not being counted as demand when you have 3 times a card when you need 2 of them to upgrade a charachter is complete rubbish !

im sure there could be a group of 50 peeps easily who could hold 10 copies each. 50 is just a conservative number btw, and this would cause 500 copies of this particular card to not be i nthe market

And what is your proposition to avoid this ?

The ELO was controlled by few people who were the only people present in the room due to connection hours.

The market is a different thing.
Now, if you believe that he can be monopolized, and sure he can, what solution you want to have ?
I personally see no system to avoid this.
Except to sell card by Feerik and suppress the market.

How is the Market controlled?
1 - Buy cards
2 - Hold them till the price rises

How is the Market monopolized?
Do 1 and 2 in big scale.

How to fix?
- Supply - Account for cards above 3-5 in players' collections when determining "Supply", wich will decrease the price of the card. Up to 3 (1 for unique) non-saleable are included in this calculation (because those 3 (1 for unique) are playable)
- Demand - Do not account for purchases from players who already have 3-5 of the card they just bought when determining "Demand", wich would've increased the price of the card.

What is the purpose?
- Reducing the effect hoarding has on the Market prices.
- Only affects hoarders.

you just have to check the market often. usually when I check there is nothing, but I have found 2 of them on sell by random chance and snatched them up quickly. I want to try this character and when the card goes below 1k crystal I'll be getting it.

When I created this thread, I was doing just that.

Eventually I grabbed enough to upgrade Kotori, but that's it...

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Solution - you have more then 7 uncommon/5 rare copies of a card in your collection - WHAM!!!! 30% tax when you sell that card.
This way no one will hold more then 6 uncommon/4 rare cards in their collection.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Quite a bad idea, 'cause in that case the unsellable cards we get from adventure mode would be a pain in the ass.

This happens when you kill the market... i lost lot of money with your last upgrades so thanks a lot. And there are a lot of ways around the posts to improve the market, but i know money is more important.

Sorry english is not my native language, and yes, i mean Feerik killed the market with the last upgrade not you. Im not going to say nothing new... just look at the market: Extreme low prices and no cards.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

No cards ????
Extremely low prices ????

We don't see the same market.

For me, there is more cards in sell since the last update.
The low price is due to the players.
They choose to put the cards at theses prices.
And if they sell at this price, it's means that the price is correct.

Before, the price never raise, it is no more the case, if there is no sell, the price raise.

Before, the floor price blocked the player to put cards on the market at a discount price to sell them quickly, it is no more the case.

Actually, I can find almost all the cards I want, this wasn't the case.
I can buy at decent price and not paying for artificial high price.

For me, the modifications are for a better market.

Please, explain what is the trouble for you.
