I say this game is one of the tcg that involves strategy a lot... For example when I'm playing my circus deck, i see which type of deck I'm facing and then destroy the pillar cards of it. In a Pirate marauder, the opponent always forgot i can hit characters that are not in the fight, always hitting the one with the pillar cards, and reserve my infernal crickets for high defense characters. People usually just play cards according to what they where thinking on the deck building stage, but while playing is all different, opponents also have something in mind.
About luck, compare Eredan to other TCG like yugioh or Magic , in a game of 60 cards you cant hardly predict half of the cards the opponent has, and or what will you get with such a hight number in your deck. Even in Rpg you characters have range of attack... they don't do the same damage every time they hit. Its all about luck. I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but the fact is that this game use some simple mathematics, and that's why the effect of luck or probabilities is more visible. Also we are always expecting you characters to do a certain amount of damage , but remember you can always miss.
Luck can be part of the glory or defeat, but for me is always fun !
I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being. (Hafez)

rutse a écrit :true, luck is bigger than strategy
and discard decks kill your bit of luck too (and the game)
Your second statement completely mutes the first...
Discard Decks are not prone to luck as much as other decks - the results are pretty predictable.
Other decks are the ones who need to have alot of luck and alot of strategy just to stand a chance.
