Look at the Witchblade Thread tongue Witchblade still falls over to Zil Warriors anyway and discard. To be honest, there are other decks out there that are equally if not more powerful.

I understand Bleachman's gripe about seeing fully-levelled witchblade deck in Levelling room. They should just try for ELO instead.

it's nothing to do with maxed wb on lvl rooms, but with general maxed decks on lvl rooms

and i hope you understand, nobody pleases much them repetitions, you know

we need more decks and players in elo now

Which is why I made a suggestion about making ELO more rewarding.  Here->  http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?i … at=itcg-us  Feel free to chime in with your own ideas on that topic if you haven't already.

Honestly, I really LIKE witchblades.  I like that a decently cheap deck can at least kinda half-ass compete.  I like the versatility.  However, they DO get kind of annoying when it's the fifth witchblade player in a row, and I'm using all level 1 characters to try and beat them.

i agree with Falanin

I ran witchblades about 3 weeks ago and i got 2000+ elo which show they are competitive and i think someone got second with a witchblade deck in the weekly in that week. but they do need to stay out of the level rooms

Built properly they are hard for any deck to handle though. But they are not cheap to get them to that level of competition. and i don't agree with magius if witchblades are properly made and invested in zil warriors roll over to them but mill is a major problem.

and the lack of originality in eredan is really annoying. last week if i wasn't running into witchblades it was one of the many types of mill decks.

WB's are just another fad. next month or so it's gonna be some kind of priest setup running around with all these new items. I've already encountered a few...with yilith, the new guy and eternal i can see some serious playing going on :-)

Re : Witchblades are getting old.

I play WB deck. and the reason is because finally I can put aside my Abom deck to compete in ELO (although Abom is still better).

Try making a list of ELO decks:
1. stupid mage decks.
2. stupid Ish decks.
3. stupid abom deck.
4. stupid eclipse deck.
5. stupid port.

From my point of view, it's a good thing that once in a while we can put new decks which aren't only fun, but able to compete in elo. I believe this is the reason why alot of ppl and me are playing WB decks.

Cause we're sick of being bullied by Ish and her stupid boyfriends and we get the chance to beat them with WB.

just quoting because you said it cool!

I agree at some point but the only complaint i have is that I wanted more decks, different oponents, into the elo room. I'm almost getting friends with a bunch of people coz all the elo players are all the same.

And highly powerful cards like ishaya or a-bomb will always upset people, so I just don't mind them much except if the case is like the wb issue. A while ago it was courts, then quick draw...

The most powerful cards that appear on new releases, the most complaints.

but there's another thing... It always comes in waves... something comes and seems OP, then you get a few different giants over there... and then something new that makes the ones before run like spoiled kids. Remember that the issue was discard a while ago?

Re : Witchblades are getting old.

Well, one of the problems is that: easy to make.
Plus, it is the easiest to make out of the starter decks. You get Moira.

It's also cheaper to build than getting Selene + Silene + Dark Stone Heart & 2x Ergue + Soriek + BigRage and evolve them all into one big happy mofo family.
I'd compare Telendar to Naya in terms of being the "expensive single card".

Just reduce the bonus defense the sisters give each other to +1, since it's honestly a bit overpowered for a leveling deck.

As for being lucky/unlucky with specific deck type encounters, I, encounter damn Courtesans everywhere. It's like a plague - 3 out of 5 games is against Courtesans.

WitchBlades as odd it may sound to you, I rarely encounter - and when I do, often it's Eglantyne  + Moira  + Bomzar/Anazra/Naya.
Only encountered the Naya+Anazra+E&M about 4 times so far.

And let's face it, one of the problem with the WitchBlades is that the cards they use are like 90% WitchBlade-specific. Little demand + regular supply = Prices drop.

While simple cards like Smart Ass, Weapon Dance, Assassination, Armed and Ready, Blast Off! remain expensive because they can fit loads of decks.
