why is that?It should be fixed, but unfortunatly you wont get stitches for boosters opened before the fix
This is really unpleasant... if it was an event policy I would have understood, but it it looks like I am have to pay the price for the bug, which is not normal. ![]()
I have opened a premium booster but I did not get any wired stitches.... ![]()
why is that?
Wow!!! another superb event!
Congratulations!!!
If you want to really take advantage of the armors Dragon Breath is the way to go.
Drowning is also a great card to soften up the main opponent's character.
The translation is a little misleading. You need to activate 4 cards from one guild and 4 cards from another guild so any courtesan deck will probably do...
I think I might give Sap Pirates a try.
Excellent! I'm really glad about the lowering of the tax.
Feerik needs to find other ways to take crystals out of circulation. (maybe by hosting a lottery every week where you can buy tickets with crystals)
It is great to see that our opinions mattered!
Sentence is not working properly. If you play it in the last turn (when your last character dies) it has no effect.
DennisN a écrit :Firstly, a 30% tax will have an inflationary impact and not a deflationary one. A good real world example is to observe the increase in tax for 'vice' products e.g. tobacco etc. They will add to inflation because transactional costs are higher. E.g. Seller who wants 1000 crystals for a card, will only transact with Buyer who is willing to pay 1300 crystals for a card. So long story short, prices should increase and less cards traded on the marketplace.
First I want to thank you for your post, it's very insightful.
But I can't help but question your comparison with the tax for 'vice' products. Since the floor and roof prices of a card are determined by demand only (it's determined by the amount of cards sold at the current price), wouldn't the seller have close to no power on the price? Then again I'm no economist, and since there's no system like this IRL we'll probably have to wait and see what happens.
Actually you are right. In online trading card games with virtual currency, where the tax currency is taken out of circulation a higher tax will have a deflationary effect, especially combined with the price limits.
While it is understandable why they had to do this - since the number of players has increased, each day much more crystals then new cards are generated - if they won't do something to keep the value of feez as high as it was before they will probably have a fall in sales. (which they might try and compensate with really expensive events)
Hello everybody,
a few words on today's scandal :
- 30% : I know it's really high, but it's necessary so we have a chance to correct past errors and move forward. I know it wont be accepted, I know it was a harsh decision, but I want you to trust us a bit and to wait and see : it should be able to help a lot the market and to get rid of people abusing it.- Direct sell : this option is just here to provide you a fast way to get rid of large amounts of unsellable cards. It wasnt meant to replace the market.
I am willing to give you credit since Eredan is way ahead of it's competitors in some aspects, but if feez become less valuable you will lose me as a paying customer.
As written in my previous post if the good cards get more expensive while all the others drop in price feez have less value. (you need to sell more weak cards, which are more numerous thus you have a much higher chance of getting them in boosters, in order to buy a good card)
30% sales tax! this is simply ridiculous!!!!
as a paying player who also uses the market place to sell the cards I get from boosters I can say I am outraged and I feel really sorry I bought a 5000 feez pack a few days ago.
It is obvious that Eredan's policy is extremely biased in favor of attracting new players rather then taking care of their existing paying ones.
It's worth mentioning that I only have a few doubles (foil cards under 80k overall value) so I am not pissed because I have a massive stack of legendaries but rather because my feez have much less value.
So what will the new changes do in short - medium term?
1. kill leveling of cards for profit
2. create oligopolies - many more rich players will group themselves to manipulate the price of really valuable cards. With the higher tax they will need to create a much higher price bump in order to have profit.
3. lower the value of feez greatly because of point 2 - really good cards will still be very expensive while all the others will drop in value
Anyway I hope I am wrong and all these changes will prove to be a huge improvement.
Also the price limit for foil has nothing to do with the past real transactions. I can not sell foil angelica for more then 900 crystals, while most playable foil character cards under 3k were selling instantly. The foil announciator has a 2700 limit while most foil tempus cards were selling for around 8k. Also with the current system if a new player sells a foil card for the price of the normal version it greatly affects the price limits of the card in question.
Don't destroy the foil card market. Keep them unregulated!
Hope someone from the developers reads this.....
This week there seem to be only players with over 2100 permanent score in ELO.
18 games so far and I don't remember ever playing with someone under 2100.
Regardless I find the deck and strategy variety very refreshing. (even though I am using a very similar deck to what I normally use)
The price is really low and you can actually cause some trouble with this deck.
But it's enough to have 2 magic poison in the second half of your deck for your strategy to fail since living nature is only really offensive with spirit speaker.
Also in a hostile environment has to be played in the first 3 turns otherwise it would deal far to little damage (it deals far to little damage as it is).
So replace 1 hostile environment with the free fireball everyone has. The other 2 with smoked arrow.
Replace scouting the area with dais intervention. (this card practically gives you one shot immunity against high attack characters like zil and kotoba)
[card]Exodium[/card] is a nice chain for spells.
[card]It is time[/card] works well with Lady of the Nehant
[card]Favor of dawn[/card] is a great defensive card if you can afford it.
Approximative translation from the French card description:
You gain 1 point at the end of a turn for each one of your alive characters who has less then 0 life points after the activation of a card.
Even in French it is pretty confusing... I'll try some DK with [card]the dragon's champion[/card] maybe it scores points.
The only card that can make a discard deck unbeatable is Ishaia, otherwise any deck that can deal high damage from the start (like Sap heart) and does not have high spirit has a good chance to beat them.
Nomads with longevity and plaston, zil with saphyra and rain of arrows, kotoba that do not play cards mindlessly, sap heart multi race (rargnor + one brother in arms has 14/18 T1) and I am sure others can come up with other examples of decks that can handle discard.
Of course I am talking about top notch versions of those decks.
Gent M a écrit :Homchai with [card]items have a soul[/card] can win easily against some decks.
Pirates with [card]Flames of the phoenix[/card] and rocketer are also strong.I have doubts for the pirates.
All the card of the deck should be level 1, so you cannot kill everyone with the flames ans you cannot use the Powder Keg.
Yes you are right Pirates are no good.
The Compendium deck suggested by CAPTUSA is really effective though. Even with only one crystal storm I am winning most of my battles.
I subscribe.
The pokeredan cards are especially annoying since they always show up first
Homchai with [card]items have a soul[/card] can win easily against some decks.
Pirates with [card]Flames of the phoenix[/card] and rocketer are also strong.
But for now I am trying out tempus.
Also it is worth mentioning that all cards in your deck must be at level 1 and that this could be a great time to do the trophy that gives
The Ball
as well.
So how does the card actually work? From what I have seen it only copies the cards that have been played after it.
So if you are second and play it as a chain it copies nothing.
Is this true or was this the problem that was fixed?
1. yes you can cancel sales at any time
2. once upgraded to level 3 the apostate level 3 can not be sold. (same with the watchmaker)
Calandra a écrit :they are indeed banned... but once u obtain the banner you can use them outside the tournament to gain the points... so a golem in normal rooms are quite possible
This is interesting. Will probably do this after getting the 3 free banners.
Edit:
Lol. Damn this game. I wish someone would have told me the 3 free banners were kotoba, zil, and noz. Instead of the generic ones you can upgrade. Now I have 2 kotoba banners >.> no sense getting the rest of the trophies now as i will not be spending more on this event. The game really needs more info.
Same thing happened to me because the images of the trophy reward cards were broken when they first launched the event. ![]()
Ah you are right... I forgot about the market sales limit.
Then I understand all the complaints perfectly. To have to play around 200-300 games just to get the entrance fee is wrong. It is a pity since more participants equals a better tournament.
Also I do not feel very catered for when in 6 boosters I only get crappy cards (it's more like I feel i threw some money out the window) but my point was that regardless of these shortcomings the event is high quality (a high stakes tournament with many many more viable deck combinations and different gameplay then regular ELO).
Besides the fact that I did not get one card over 5k in 6 big boosters and the fact that the trophies do not give out crystals nor xp, the event is really fun and I can't wait to get finish it so I can play the Autumn tournament seriously.
Also the fact that the paying players can get a card like [card]On equal terms[/card] is great and makes up for the high priced useless boosters. (due to the fact that there are too many crappy rares that I would not be surprised to have a higher generation rate then the expensive ones)
Conclusion: the event is excellent and events like this one are the only thing that make me spend money on the game.
EDIT: and is 10k really that much? I sold spiritspeaker 4 and kounok 3 and I was almost set for the entrance fee. Sure you have to chip your collection a little but it's far from being a tragedy.
I would change 2x art of the iron fist with 2x scroll of immobility otherwise you have no chance vs high defence decks.
3x firon seems to much - what if you get 2 of them early on and no shuriken? are you going to chain them with art of the iron fist?
Fallback is a good choice as it ensures survival in the first turns. So maybe give up 1 or 2 firon for fallback.
Lastly change zarazam's eye for time to die.
This is a very good idea as long as it only applies to the ELO room.
