Just as the subject says:
I am quite new at this discarding game, but please clarify it for me. As I understand, the opponent loses immediately after they fail to draw a card from their deck.
So if my opponent has 0 cards in his deck by the end of turn 6 and he needs to draw one card or more to fill his hand for the next turn, shouldn't I be declared the winner at the end of the turn 6 or the beginning of turn 7, because the computer checks whether the opponent has enough cards to draw for the next turn?
Sometimes, I had instances even when my opponent has 0 cards in the deck AND his hand and yet, we still played a turn. This is the turn AFTER I made him lose all his cards.
Example:
Turn 7: I discard my opponent's cards in hand down to 0. I discard my opponent's deck down to 0.
Turn 8: A new round !!!!! - Shouldn't I be declared the winner even before this turn begins?
By the definition of the winning condition, am I not the winner at the end of turn 7 since the computer checks whether the opponent has anymore cards to draw?
Please clarify
Thanks!
Is it true that the Discard deck key cards like treacherous, theft, and mental siphon are banned from the ELO/tournament rooms?
Thanks!
Well, thanks for answering. I haven't completed it.....thank God
I did buy some of the vital material for a zil deck tho: 2 fist blades, 1 living dagger, telendar, and I just got stormy. I had The Shadow even before I found your deck online so that's all good Trying to get Obesity since I think it's also one of the staples for a Zil deck.
I want to play direct damage Zil, but it's just too inconsistent (VS Multi-Race Sap Heart, Kotoba Crow/Tracker), so I am really debating to switch to Kotoba - Crow. We'll see how expensive the Crow deck is.
Last question:
Stormy deals 1-3 damage to ALL living chars. How is that beneficial for a Zil deck with Low D that usually ends up in the 2-3s at the end of the first rounds of fights.
Thanks again for answering
I have been searching for a decent Zil deck and this seems to be the cheapest one available and yes I know I am reviving an old thread and net-decking. I am quite new at deckbuilding so I figure I start from here.
I just have a few questions before I invest the money
1. Does this deck really work? Salem looks a bit weak to me. Defensive when he gets his order but other times? I think I need explaining how to use him properly. Actually, how does this deck win? Discard/milling or killing the opponent's character?
2. Can this deck hold his own in the ELO rooms?
3. How would you improve the deck if it's possible?
Thanks again
I heard that you can get Living Dagger by buying a starter deck. Is this true? If so, which starter?
Thanks
