Okay, apparently it works when I open the game on Firefox, does not work on IE. Makes no sense, but hey..... at least it works more or less.

EXP-Bonus not working in the Training room. Working as intended?

Nicht unbedingt high-end ELo tauglich, aber extrem spassig zu spielen.

Charaktere:

[card]Herr Galmara[/card]
[card]Doyen-Berater Veraz[/card]
[card]Beraterin Ishaia[/card]

Zauber:

3 x [card]Eiswall[/card]
[card]Blitze[/card] (3)
2 x [card]Das letzte Wort[/card]
2 x [card]Glühender Regen[/card]

Aktionen:

[card]Ein neuer Start[/card]
3 [card]Manipulation[/card]
3 [card]Strahlender SIeg[/card]
[card]Prestige[/card]
[card]Ungeschicklichkeit[/card]

Items:

[card]Banner des Rates[/card]
2 [card]Lebensfresser[/card]

Extrem discard anfaellig, aber gute Chancen gegen fast alles andere.

I sense a bit of sarcasm...just not sure on which part.

What sarcasm? I think discard decks are extremely under represented in ELO-tournaments at the moment, due to the extremely high difficulty level that is required to play them up to their full potential. .... THAT was sarcasm.

Unfortunately none of the frogs ever reads this forum because apparently they are busy spending the money they earn for screwing up this game in the whorehouse or on Crack.

#6 Re : Suggestions » How to fix discard decks. » 19-02-2012 22:34:47

No, you just need the right strategy against them mate. Right strategy means: Buy an expensive deck that oneshots them or buy at least 2 new starts. It's your fault if you loose against them, not the retarded Dev's that fucked up.

Room 1: Discard Lamers

Room 2: I have Time to Die & Assassination/One Hit One Dead/Secret Weapon on   the starting hand or I quit

Room 3: People interested in playing a strategical card game.

#9 Bugs » Cards that modify Shulongs stats » 08-02-2012 18:34:44

The following cards modify the stats of Shulong

1.) If he plays Obesity it lowers his DEF to 2.
2.) A Magic Attack played by the enemy redoces his DEF to 0.

Is that working as intended, because in the text it says "bla bla bla stats can not be enahnced or lowered bla" or something like that?

The card [card]Pic-nick [/card] apparently does not trigger the effect of [card]Conquer or Perish[/card] although it's an action.

#11 Re : Deck and Strategy » DK's after the new release » 04-02-2012 19:02:14

Azure is a nice piece of gear, the spirit boost in combination with Last Action is deadly, and it always chains due to Arkalons passive skill. I have recently swapped the Draconian Sword for a Life Devourer, works fine so far.

Hello everybody, with the newly released DK reinforcements i thought I dust of the old deck and see how Ardrakar performs.

What I'm running so far is:

Charakters:

[card]Ardrakar the Dragon Knight[/card]
[card]Arkalon[/card]
[card]Kounok the Prophet[/card]

Actions:

3 x [card]In the name of the Dragon[/card]
3 x [card]The Dragon's Champion[/card]

Spells:

1 x [card]Cut and thrust![/card]
1 x [card]Knight's honour[/card]
2 x [card]Magic Attack[/card]
3 x [card]Power[/card]
1 x [card]Than the sword[/card]
1 x [card]The Last Action[/card]

Items:

1 x [card]Draconian Sword[/card]
1 x [card]Azure[/card]
2 x [card]Dragon Armor[/card]
1 x [card]Chimera[/card]

Any comments or suggestions? I personally would like to put 2 Crystal Shelf in, but I'm not entirely sure which cards to take out for that (to be perfectly honest I'm not even sure if they are really necessary^^).

#13 Re : Deck and Strategy » The Mysterious Pheonix Campaign, which decks? » 01-02-2012 16:04:41

Probably going to have to buy the mega energy pack to do that...

And then your last char dies after you killed 119 monsters wink

#14 Re : Deck and Strategy » The Mysterious Pheonix Campaign, which decks? » 01-02-2012 15:59:06

Yeah Immortals seem to be a pretty safe bet. Does anybody know how much money it would cost to fight the 120 fights in a row which are required to get the achievement?

You don't really need Punishing The Unpure
Swap it for a Basking in the sun for more DR potential.

330 fights to get the phoenix...

Yeah, I know. But I'm too lazy to modify the deck wink

#16 Re : Deck and Strategy » The Mysterious Pheonix Campaign, which decks? » 01-02-2012 15:37:02

[card]Shrikan[/card]
[card]Djamena[/card]
[card]Sakina, Priest Of Naptys[/card]

2 x [card]Basking In The Sun[/card]
2 x [card]Disembodiment[/card]
3 x [card]Forced March[/card]
2 x [card]Harshness[/card]
2 x [card]Lamentation Of Sol'ra[/card]
3 x [card]Litany[/card]
1 x [card]Punishing The Unpure[/card]
2 x [card]Solar Plastron[/card]
2 x [card]Storm Of Ptol'a[/card]
[card]Supplication[/card]

Works fine so far. Add [card]Solaris[/card] or [card]Divine Light[/card] if you want. What bothers me is 120 monster in 1 game makes 476 Energy.... isn't that a bit over the top?

Edit: There is one monster which gets Atk +3 against Priests and usually follows up with Asassinatinon, ending up with 14/15. So keep the chars high on Health and the damage reduction as high as possible^^

#17 Re : Deck and Strategy » Need help with Gumelite Trackers » 01-02-2012 14:06:54

What I am using for Tracker Guemelites is

Charakters:

[card]Hime[/card]
[card]Malyss[/card]
[card]Shui Khan[/card]

Actions:

[card]Anathematize[/card]
2 x[card]Assassination[/card]
[card]Time To Die[/card]
[card]The Best Defense...[/card]

Spells

[card]Freeze[/card]
2 x [card]Ice Barrier[/card]
3 x [card]Katamaru[/card]

Items

2 x [card]Shuriken[/card]
3 x [card]Trackers Emblem[/card]
2 x [card]Firon[/card]
2 x [card]Trackers Mask[/card]

If you only have the [card]Assassination[/card] from the starter just put in [card]Capturing The Enemy[/card].

#18 Re : Deck and Strategy » Temple Guardians:No Graveyard » 31-01-2012 23:20:46

Just trying a similar idea in this weeks ELO, and honestly.... I think the only deck this one has a win guaranteed against is a freshly opened Noz starter.

#19 Re : Suggestions » Dances with Volk has to be unique..... » 12-06-2011 22:34:33

The randomness of melee damage is one of the biggest flaws the game has. That's what makes the DwV absolutely over the top.

The turn it shows up on the board is at least turn number 4. At that point of the game, in a "standard" pack-deck you have the automatic Lumination caused by Wilde's order out, usually at least one Axe, and your Chars are somewhere between 75 and 25 % health, depending on the kind of deck you play, your starting hand, etc...

That means the opposing character ends up with full HP and attack value somewhat like 0/15. Now the almighty dice comes into play, and every kind of strategy (what made the "offline TCG bestsellers" like Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh successive over years), is in vain, because it's mere randomness that decides if you win or loose the game.

#21 Deck and Strategy » Sitar Hero Deck - rate and discuss :) » 07-06-2011 18:38:43

Hello everybody, here's what I'm actually trying in ELO as well as in the Levelroom. I'm pretty pleased with the results so far, but maybe someone has some ideas or suggestions to share.

Chars:

[card]Psalm[/card] (lvl 3)
[card]Dandy[/card] (lvl3)
[card]Mylad[/card] (lvl 4)

Spells & Actions

[card]Invisibility[/card] (2x)
[card]Magic Poison[/card] (3x)
[card]Potion of Seduction[/card] (3x)
[card]Preparations[/card] (3x)
[card]Scouting the Area[/card] (lvl 2) (3x)
[card]Sitar Hero[/card] (3x)
[card]Static Charge[/card] (1x)
[card]Tea Ceremony[/card] (2x)

I tried [card]Manipulation[/card], but so far had the better experience with the huge Def-Boost given by [card]Invisibility[/card], than a permanent reduction by 1 or 2 attack points.

Also tried 1 or 2 [card]Moneyed[/card], [card]Anathematize[/card] and [card]Freeze[/card] to counter some of the common ELO-builds, but lately encountered IhaS and Foam-Giant-armed-to-the-teeth decks so rarely, that I took them out again.

[card]Moneyed[/card] got dismissed because it is a more than lousy substitute for AnS.

I'm actually working on the "The Schemer" trophy for [card]Scheme[/card] (600 cards is a pain in the bollocks!), which will in time replace [card]Static Charge[/card].
