Begin of translation here :
http://wiki.eredan.com/index.php?title=US:UniverseComplete story here :
http://wiki.eredan.com/index.php?title= … redan_iTCGNew story is added each week with the weekly event.
A: Story
That's a significant plus, why is it not incorporated into the game? It would seem like an element that adds depth and meaning beyond just killing the other cards, beating the other deck.
B: Clans
I can see that you are slowly moving towards more sociability with chat - but note that most of the other CCGs out there (at least among successful ones) have an ability to join a guild/clan/faction. Team based fights for rank and cards are an excellent way to retain players, encourage daily play, (and encourage the spending of $$$ to tip a war in your favor).
C: Development
Cards are released each week, which is fast for the industry. However, added content (chat, PvE) is much slower, and focuses on limited time only events. Adding clans and PvE would really boost the game, well above transient events and cards each week.
Overall development is a plus for you guys but I once again write simply to say there is much room for improvement.
Hi all,
I'm an old eredan player who started playing about a year ago. I played a lot from the spring to the summer but eventually it got boring.
I occasionally log in to see if new content is added. All I see is a growing pile of cards, with high price tags for me.
I like that the game involves enough strategy so that the 3 decks I crafted are still quite viable - certainly uncommon these days with the new cards but they work. I just beat a deck in the tournament that cost three times as much as mine to build.
However, what is the purpose of the game?
I ask with the hope of improving the game. As of now, I don't see any deep, written storyline. I see no PvE content to develop the background of the different races. I don't see any new added videos on Feerik's main site.
And frankly, there are enough CCG games out there to keep me occupied. I've moved on, but would like to come back.
Yours,
ST
Nurvus a écrit :You seem to love gambling.
I like the other gambling idea you posted. This one just makes no sense, and is unbalanced.
Because +1 to a statistic will give very different results between different cards.
Sometimes +1 is the difference between balanced and overpowered. This game is like WoW, there's just so many cards, items and builds that its impossible to balance. Also the effect of pokeblocks do not affect pokemon balance that much. Besides, what better balance there is than turn level 6 Abomination into lvl 1 Dandy?
Buyer's remorse. Look it up.
Any business model that willingly produces buyer's remorse results in a loss of customers. Because getting a level 1 dandy after spending months to save up for an Abomination would suck. "The developers just want me to lose" is my immediate reaction, then rage, then playing other games.
Wow relies on a system of progression, leveling, which means socketed gear can easily become outdated. In eredan some cards are timeless - even though a Zil deck from a year ago might not win as much today, it's still fun playing it. Two different business models.
A non-monotonous soundtrack, proper for menu browsing would be best.
An epic song would fail because it would be an overkill for the situation.
It's just a welcoming sound.
Make it simple and seamless.
The benefit of having it epic is that I would get really hyped up each time I play the game.
However you make a good point - a non-monotonous but calmer type of song might be more suited for background music. It would also enhance replay-ability. That seems to be the key.
I vote no simply because there are far more detrimental things in the game right now.
A very good idea but one that should be on the back burners.
I understand that time is limited and time costs $$, and I certainly don't want to delay other ventures like setting up clan modules or PvE.
However, perhaps voting yes if you agree with the idea, but adding a disclaimer in the comments that it should be on the back burner, would be a more viable approach. This method upholds the incentives to give suggestions, and feedback overall helps the parent company.
Also, and more importantly, why presume that the developers have to develop everything?
How about setting up a contest for users of Eredan to submit their own musical pieces for the game?
The prize for getting your music used could be something like five premium boosters. It could be good publicity and get users more involved.
Or what about visiting sites that offer songs for free, unlicensed use by anyone, or sites that allow you to get the rights to a song you would like to use?
Just my two cents - I hope you see it as constructive.
Thanks,
ST
So you've heard the song hundreds of times, listen to it unwillingly when the loading screen won't load fast enough, and likely mute your entire laptop so you don't have to deal with it.
What is it? The introductory song that greets you as you log in to play another round of Eredan itCG.
With all of your great soundtracks for particular races (Nomads, Sap Hearts, Noz come to mind), why is your music from the main page so dull? It sounds like a lonely trumpet playing in an empty room. The song doesn't welcome me to the game, nor does it expose any of the great things that Eredan iTCG has to offer.
I propose that the developers switch the introductory music to an epic song on the scale of Requiem for a Dream or Unstoppable by Posthumus. However, any upbeat and positive song that isn't necessary "epic" would be an upgrade too.
See below for the poll. Feel free to post responses to any part of this suggestion.
Thanks,
ST
I think the idea has potential if implemented well.
I don't want power creep decks to be so OP that a multi-class deck, able to play spells/theurgies + actions, would just play a lot of heavy hit spells for the first few rounds and then get buffed into the equivalent of Abomination by turn 3.
But, I could see a lot of passive discarded cards give a buff like heals a random player for 1 point, or reduces an opposing player's attack by -1/0 for one turn.
Perhaps a few other cards will give stronger buffs, but then those cards might have a caste/deck of their own.
+ 1
I like this idea. I'm also a big fan of the PvE under development.
I play in moderation. N keep myself interested by not indulging for crystals to have everything and then be really bored. Same ol make a deck, get bored of it, sell it, see what I can afford and turn unique.
Still have my hopes in clans, people want fair competition but people are also rediculously lazy it seems.
Im working on a format list and according to my poll is actually quite a nice idea.
I think clans are a great idea. Why isn't it part of the actual game? Like 75% of the mmos out there have clans/guilds, look at Wow, Tyrant, etc.
And the feedback: clans make people more likely to play the game, more likely to play for longer, and thus more likely to pay $$$ to get better at a game they like.
I thought guilds were an industry standard and am a bit surprised that a game of this caliber doesn't have a clan system.
It was a damn hard trophy but I made it.
My Crows with Tsume, Iaido, and Vanish easily made only magic damage, but the remain under 30 damage was insane even with Randori/Disagreement/Bunny/Fallback and other tons of defensive cards too.
+2
I made it and didn't face any bugs for matches. It took time, was difficult, took a bit of the right placement card-wise.
Noticed I either won really easy, like 50 damage against 16, or won with like 70 points against 50.
Keizan level 1 description:
"Every loss from the Dais people is another step foward to complete extinction."
Seems like you wanted to say:
"Every loss from the Dais people is another step FORWARD to complete extinction."
Although I would personally revise it to say:
"Every loss FOR the Dais people is another step TOWARDS complete extinction."
Giving you my input on things I came across in the past two weeks.
Bugs Encountered:
Sword icon to play cards did not appear, resulting in me being timed out of the game. Incidence: about 1/40 games.
Server reset, or other reason resulted in gameplay just stopping. The time bar on the bottom of the screen stopped moving. Incidence: 1/40 games.
Typographical Error: Keizan Level 1 has a description, "foward" should be spelled "forward."
Bugs "Fixed:" The bug that consistently had me being unable to view the other player's cards has been fixed for at least the past two months.

Doesn't 5 of a kind get me a booster? And you still playing eredan? go to the casino.
also, 5 of a kind doesn't exist in poker, if u get 4 of a kind, the joker would be replaced with the highest card available, AKA "kicker".
- Irrelevant point about the casino - none where I live in the states. Now that online poker has been hit by the Feds, I stick to home games.
- On 5 of a kind not existing in poker - this is pokeredan, and the devs could add an impossible trophy if they want to. Also didn't answer my question - Val got to it.
Thank you MrLordi92 for the clarification.
@UrBestFriend: judging from past events most likely no. It just looks like you'll be able to keep the Joker and bluff cards for regular games.

really sorry i cant help it... but to post this
hehehehe
I don't mind more Nomad players ^^
So is anyone else in agreement that the collector cards should count towards the 'have all hero's max level' trophy? I mean it does follow the letter of the trophy. Just a suggestion but a good one.
+2
I didn't try them yet, but also think collector cards should be playable in normal and tournament matches.
My question is about upgrading your card to the collector, pokeredan version.
After the event is over, will we be able to use those cards in our deck for regular games?
Or will it just be another time where we get awesome cards and then can't use them in-game, thereby lowering my perception of the entire event.
Edit: Would it be possible to add a prize for those who play more than 100, 200, and 300 pokeredan games?
Maybe a few are asleep.
Bugs: There are problems with the game. I cannot enter the training and leveling room.
French: Il y a beaucoup des problèmes avec le jeu. Je ne peux pas entrer dans la salle de formation et de salle de nivellement. S'il vous plaît aider.
Please help.
I find that mages are rather expensive, and you don't get as much bang for your buck.
Suggestions?
Hey all,
I'm currently stuck at the 1700 level and am looking to either improve my Witchblade deck or invest in a new deck. I have standard cards mostly, nothing over 40K except for a fireball and lightning blast lvl 3.
I have about 50K crystals, but am planning on buying a number of packs and boosting it to say 120-140K by mid-August.
1) With 140K crystals today, what type of deck would you invest in?
2) In your experience, is a Mages deck better than a Witchblade deck, and is it contingent on the amount of "rain of deaths" and the last actions you own?
3) What is a recycle mill deck and would I be able to make a good one (1750 elo+)?
Thank you,
ST
Thank you all for the tips, input, and help!
One day left in the event, Anyone have a list of cards that have dhan on them? (simple attack etc.)
Here's a list of bugs I came across in the past 2 weeks with rough estimates on their frequency of occurence:
1) At the start of the fight, you select 2 characters to fight, but you cannot play any cards. You time out. (1/150 matches)
2) At the start of the fight, you cannot select 2 characters to fight. You time out. (1/60 matches)
3) With one character left on the opposing team, you select cards to play, but they don't activate. (1/250 matches)
4) Both you and your opponent cannot play any cards (only saw this once, perhaps a bug with the opponents kotoba card(, the one which is permanent so long as the player plays kotoba cards only))
5) Card with no healing powers heals an opponent to full health (saw it only once, hack?).
6) Treasure interface for event doesn't work on facebook. Works on main eredan website.
7) Any time you click a player's name to see their stats, you can no longer see the cards you or your opponent play in game. If you select a card to play you must play it (can't take it back) (every match).
NOTE: may be related to the recent treasure event.
8) Vampire dagger level 3 about 1/2 times does not heal 2 health points if you deal more damage.
C'est tout.
Hey Peeps,
Last night I came across an intriguing situation.
I was biding my time, leveling up my characters in the practice zone. I hit the random confrontation button.
Three cards come up: all mercenaries, all level 1.
I don't remember much. Their names were: Shana, Crystocat, and another name.
Stats? Crystocat had 0 spirit, 6/8, i think 2 defense as a level 1 beast marauder.
Innate: chain potions, type: beast.
Shana: i think had 5/9 but really can't recall. 0 spirit.
Shana was a marauder too i believe, and the third was a warrior.
I checked the symbol on the bottom for rarity: it just had the chalice, meaning you can buy the cards from in store purchases.
My question: Are these cards available to the public? How did the player have or buy these cards? Was the player actually a tester?
Please reply. Thank you.
