I've been thinking very much about such a deck myself, but IMO the better Merc choices are pretty expensive, to replace Lucyan (your link is broken, I presume Lucyan is one of the new "starter" guys?).
Jane and Yilith are good, but in the third place you could use:
1) Sevyrath - super expensive, but pretty good with his hammer. I think he synergizes better in a warrior deck though.
2) Stoneeater - very good, but difficult to obtain.
3) Eternal - can't use Nova, but has good stats all around.
The problem with the Hammer in general is that it turns you into a warrior, meaning you are pretty much "stuck" once you play it.

on the contrary, a well built kotoba deck is actually the one who give headache to circus
with Galmara+iro+asajiro, their attack is already high that they don't really need to use any card to kill...
Haha thats what I was saying. Kotoba would do well against Circus. Sorry if it was unclear

I face Circus quite often (well, who doesn't 
) and due to their unique win condition, makes them one of the toughest decks for me to face. While I can win them if I play my cards right and nuke them down fast enough (e.g. with my Mage or WB deck), generally anything with any lower damage output simply loses against them, short of playing A New Start, which is pretty expensive.
I'd imagine things like Kotoba, with their terrible Spirit and low reliance on cards in hand due to their impressive stats would suffer less against them, but then again I've never played a Kotoba warrior deck.
What decks work well against Circus? Or is ANS the only straight answer to them?

On paper it looks fairly decent somewhat, but it doesn't play too well because the deck is prone to terrible starting hands (e.g. full of Celerity's and Agings, or all my heals coming out in my opening hand). I'm not saying its downright crap, but its a fair bit weaker than my other decks for ELO room purposes.
Would appreciate any and all help, thanks!

I always believed that level 3 apostle/watchmaker was required to unlock the upgrades for certain characters (Abom, Pilkim, Zahal etc) but my friend insists level 2 is sufficient.
So, do I need level 3 or level 2? Or do people never bother and just sell the level 2 Apostles/Watchmakers and buy the final upgrades?

My cheapest option is 100 Fee'z for approx $3.30 USD after currency conversion, but he gets 390 Fee'z for that rate...

And he isn't a first time buyer. His is FOUR times cheaper!

My friend and I, from the same area, pay COMPLETELY different prices for our Fee'z. Neither of us realized, but I'm paying FOUR TIMES more than he is! Thats rediculous!
