For sure, playing with 3 [card]Manipulation[/card] make this deck shine.
And no, you are not crazy. The problem is that begin a new deck, especially after lv 14, isn't that easy.
It is a card to respect.
What's the best choice in a Noz mage's deck ?
3x[card]Arcanium[/card] or 3x[card]Burn in Hell[/card]?Is [card]Erevent[/card] better than [card]Aerouant the Crystalomancer[/card] ?
Comparing only the effectiveness of the cards, [card]Burn in Hell[/card] is better, since it is effective at any point of the game, while [card]Arcanium[/card] is more effective in turns 4+. But I would run both in my deck.
For the second question... It is personal, depends on what direction you will give to your deck.
I would change:
- the [card]Desert scimitar[/card] ideia in favor of the third [card]overwhelming victory[/card] and a [card]It is time[/card]. [card]Manipulation[/card] does wonders defensively, but [card]overwhelming victory[/card] can be used as a multi-function card;
- Playing [card]Solar's Anger[/card] and [card]Divine Light[/card], betting on a chain seems a long shot to me. I bet most of the time they are played in different turns, so, as said, a second [card]Solar's Anger[/card] is too much either way. One card that I played so much is [card]Ascetic[/card], I think it would be a fine addition on the build, even considering it can get the [card]Mage's Grand Staff[/card]. Played on turn 4, can wreck up to 3 cards from your opponent;
- From your considerations, a pair of [card]It is time[/card] would be fine, to activate the orders of any of your characters in a time of need. Since I already suggested one up, droping the [card]Desert scimitar[/card], the second could replace the [card]A New Start[/card];
I use a 8-9 chain cards, for 12-11 other cards ratio.
For the kotoba warrior deck, as some of the weapons/armor will do the chain, for every 3 cards, you should count 2 as chain cards.
Did some testing with this setup and it works quite well (tested with Lv 2 chars so not at full power).
Assasination has no place in this deck, its dead card too much of the time, and most of comboes gives bigger bonus. Adding should be third potion of seduction, or even a lapdance or 2. And overwhelming victory would do wonders in this deck if you have crystals for it.
From my testing - and I tested both versions (i'll call them Kotoba-based (Galmara/Oogoe Kage/Hasna), and marauder-based traditional (Angelica/Hasna/Kimiko) ).
- A third [card]potion of seduction[/card] is a must.
- Agree with you. In the kotoba-based, [card]Assassination[/card] becomes a card that can be turned useless very easily. And, in this version, [card]Lapdance[/card] is a fine addition.
- [card]overwhelming victory[/card] does wonders in ANY version of courtesans deck. And is a card that can be purchased.
I like your build man..and dont use shell..
And if you're gonna use dragon wit then try at least 3 of them and 2 solar anger and 2 pally hammer cuz the odds with 2-1-1 are just plain awful
I agree with you.
To use [card]Dragon's wit[/card]/[card]Solar's Anger[/card]/[card]Paladin's Hammer[/card] only to complete the deck is a sub-optimal utilization.

Also, this is a proxy Courtesan deck. I'd like thoughts on this as well.Courtesan
Characters: 03
Angelica
Kimiko
HasanActions: 20
[3] The Council's Decision
[3] Overwhelming Victory
[3] Under the Sun
[3] Tea Ceremony
[3] Manipulation
[3] [card]Versatility[/card]
[2] Tadaa! You're a bunny!I'd REALLY like to add in a 3rd Tadaa, but the only card I'd eye to take out is The Council's Decision.
I would take the 3 x[card]Versatility[/card] for 3 x [card]Solaris[/card]
Now explain to me how Angelica uses "steal", I would like to hear that
Or smash that wall if we are speaking about what. And overwhelming victory gives her + 1 spirit and + 2 health, not the best combination.
Yeah, Smash That Wall is warriors only, and Steal is Zil only.
Hum... Since I'm not talking about [card]Angelica[/card] itself, but the deckbuild...
I think that Kotoba-based ([card]Oogoe Kage[/card] / [card]Lord Galmara[/card] ) courtesan decks are too much dependant of weapons. The swords, also, have the drawback of wait a whole round to make effect. All the cards I mentioned could hurt this strategy by send the weapon to the graveyard, or worse, to opponent's character.
Marauder cards, instead, are more flexible. But it's just my opinion.
Angelica is worst courtisan of all them (...). Even Ooge kage ability is more usefull (...)
Again, is a option. For me, have more card options to play, in many situations, will be better than the -1 spirit.
On the other hand:
- it can net a 2-life-bonus-recovery when [card]Overwhelming Victory[/card] is played;
- Gives an solid beatstick against Noz (the worst match for courtesans), when you use [card]Three Cheers to our Champ[/card], netting a possible +6 bonus;
- Allows the player to focus on marauder attack cards, which gives more options to the player, than swords and daggers, that can be "[card]Ascetic[/card]", ops, can be "[card]smash that wall[/card]", or can be "[card]Steal[/card]", among other options.
I like this build, although I decided to go into the traditional way (Hasna, Angelica, Kimiko), since I got a Kimiko from a booster
Thinking in a budget deck for this week...
For sure a Courtsans base:
[card]Angelica[/card] lv 1
[card]Oogoe Kage[/card] lv 1
[card]Hasna[/card] lv 1 or [card]Marlok the Repentant[/card] lv 1 or [card]Kimiko[/card] lv 1 (if you could get your hands in it...)
[card]Smart Ass[/card] x 1
[card]That's an Order[/card] x 2
[card]Potion of Seduction[/card] x 3
[card]Under the Sun [/card] x 2
If you choose Hasna/Kimiko, get another Under the sun, if you go Marlok, get a [card]Philosofical Debate[/card]
[card]Assassination[/card] x 1
[card]Scroll of Weakness[/card] x 2
[card]Ambush[/card] x 3
[card]Overwhelming Victory[/card] x 3
2 open slots - I would choose [card]Self Confidence[/card]
The whole deck is about 20000 crystals (considering that you get assassinaton from zil starter deck.), and 10000 are about the victories - replace them for something cheaper if you want, as [card]Versatility[/card]
I saw a very little number of cards that can change opponents stats. I think you will have trouble to complete the task.
What I saw by this time is a great number of [card]Bite[/card] and [card]Up your ass[/card]. It can possibly net you 4-5 points each game.
I'm not sure by now if [card]It's an order[/card] can net you points, but I'm giving a chance.
Villacqua a écrit :From @Nelson_Mendes list, as @redbrigade said [card]Weapon Dance[/card] is better than [card]Fight![/card], and isn't that hard to get.
Does weapon dance add +1/+1? Never really paid attention.
Yes. When a card say it gives a +1 bonus, it means a +1/+1 bonus.
So, to compare, [card]Fight![/card] gives a +1/+0 bonus, and [card]Weapon Dance[/card] gives a +1/+1 bonus.
Villacqua a écrit :The other change I would make would be a [card]Steal[/card] over [card]Treacherous[/card], it can create more disruption on the opponent game.
Depends on the opponent's deck. Treacherous is nice vs mage decks.
For me, would be better if I could choose the cards to be discarded. Otherwise, it would be just as if they didn't draw the card, just as [card]Theft[/card] would be played.

General About Me: I have interest in translation, and game programming. And in TCG. lots of TCG
Card Game History: My first tcg was... MtG! (tadaa!) It had been a 14-year-long career, that take me to play into a one only Pro-Tour level tournament.
At the same time, I played Pokemon, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Warlords, Battletech, Vs. System...
Online, I played ***biiiiipppp*** Wars, and Warstorm
Maybe I change my opinion when I play one tournament.
But, since it is so hard to get 500 crystals, I don't have any desire to play a tournament, in the way it is structured by now.
My deck isn't that good to be in top 3, so why would I bother to play then?
My suggestions would be: take out the ELO points from the tournament, reduce the entry fee and make more competidors get prizes there.
I just don't like [card]Firon[/card] in this deck. I prefer a 2nd [card]Art of the Iron Fist[/card] and a 2nd [card]It is time[/card]
So much complain about these 2 last trophies.
Sure, leave the game to not let your opponent get a point IS a example of poor sportsmanship.
But play by the rules, and make a deck to survive 7 or 8 rounds, and get 3 points ISN'T.
Count me in - I'll be playing merc decks for the next 2 days, since I've already completed the Ambassador trophy
+1 for bleachman
Aren't they the initial characters from Kotoba's deck?
Since I have a 60/40, 65/35 win percentage against then, I don't have too many worries.
It's fine.
But seems to me a better plan taking out the courtesan cards, and put the "The Pack" or marauders cards in.
I'm trying to create a new deck, but when I try to save it, the game does not allow me to put a name in the deck? Is it a bug, or I have to do something before to allow me to create my own decks?
(Just in case: I've already bought feez)
I really don't have much complains about the 4-card/12-card issue. Paying more to make sure to get a rare and 4 uncommons seems fair to me.
But I believe that the boosters prices that are too high! Comparing to ***biiiiipppp*** bip (to stay on iTCGs) the minimum package (3 euros) there can buy 70 credits - that are enough to buy a rare-guaranee-50-credit booster, plus a normal-20-credit booster.
Here, In Eredan, the minimum package (5 euros) gets 390 feez, that aren't enough even to get the 12-card-rare-guarantee booster - it becomes possible due to the feez given by sponsors.
In my opinion, the prices should be adjusted to guarantee, at least, that the minimum package could get a choice to the players: 5 4-card boosters, or a 12-card and a 4-card booster
