I've got two golems in my running joke of a deck, and my usual tactic against discards includes Shurikens and Firons... and maybe a guardian's spear for the last guy. The rest of the cards are waste, but it works for me 90% of the time. (They can't get rid of the shuriken I'm using unless they have the prestige for another one anyway. That's when I lose it.)

I posted a bug topic about this some time back, but I couldn't find it to bump it.
The travel rations, on 3 seperate occasions (today) did not travel, and I'm not even able to use them often.
Iolmarek dies with them after having them for the third turn and Aryphas doesn't get them.
Aryphas dies with them after having them for the second turn, and Iolmarek didn't get them.
Djameena dies with them and neither Iolmarek nor Aryphas got them.
Hey, it's my trophy-team, but that's what's been happening. I'd ask my opponents to verify this, but I have no "language option" on who I face.

I wasn't aware that golems were able to use "any" item. I would have thought that would be a key selling point in their use. I have as yet to really level my Bomzar, but I do play a Zil deck using Golemarlok and since he is a Golem, would he be able to use any item?
Huh... Just tried using the circus only whip weapon. Seems I've been underestimating golems. That was a very nice tip to get, thanks
Heh, I run Golemarlok as my main character. The deck includes Shurikens, Firions, Idols of Life, and I hope to one day get Life Devourers and Dark Stone Hearts, (Freeze? What Freeze?).

i really doubt you will against 2/3 ice walls and 2/3 manips with nothing else with a shuriken, but assuming so.. still no reliable counter
Against a discard deck?
No, fighting the Courtesans I stack Firions and Idols of Life on the same golem, and hope for the best. Sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Just in case, I'm not against Ish's +1 to spells, that card function is accord to its price, I'm against having to run a dedicate deck to counter discards decks, even low tier discards costs less than 20k crystals, and your best counters are Noz Mages, ANS, Obesity, which are really expensive
Bottomline, think of it this way, with 5 cards they have the walls up, while you need to play a lot of cards to take them out, so,
- The best way to beat a discard deck is not playing cards or making sure you OHKO them (which is nearly impossible, since you need the best draw in your deck and the worst on theirs)
- By the time you manage to kill one of their chars, you won't have enough good cards left to kill the rest, = they win

It keeps coming back, and discard characters are so weak, no other card matters.

I did find a trick, myself. For the trophy I made a slight modification to my usual deck and mixed it with the Pack.
Get this, my cards for two castes:
The Pack:
3 x Fly off the Handle
3 x Blood Ties
Tracker:
2 x Shuriken
Yep, I got credit for playing the Shuriken card 3 times, even though I only have 2 in deck. (Another example how golems are better. )

Huh I wasnt actually aware he could use The Dragon's Awakening I'd assumed it was a witchblade only item. That does level the playing field a bit. And seeing as how it did not say it was a scroll, but an item instead, I had also figured it wouldn't be chainable. Just because it looked like a scroll, didnt mean it worked like one. Apparently Im wrong.

Not so. The (keyword) - (keyword) wording has been used before. For example: Philosophical Debate is a Shadow spell with the courtesan keyword. Shadow guemelites that are not courtesans are unable to cast it. With this wording, you need to fulfill both requirements to play the card. If the intent is for both Crow and Tsoutai to be able to use Lucky Charm and Tatamijutsu, than the wording needs to be changed to prevent confusion.
I honestly hope that you're right.
In your example, one keyword is a Race, and the other is a Caste. When both keywords are the same, it is one or the other, not both. Keywords being Race, Caste, Guild, and Class.

Lucky Charm and Tatamijutsu need to be usable by both Crow and Tsoutai, not just the one character that is both. I realize that this might be a wording or translation error, but I mention it on the off chance that it isn't.
Fairly sure it's either or, kinda like how Armed and Ready says Marauder - Warrior, these says Crow - Tsoutai in the same manner.

Pirates it is. I've got two males here in the level room, and I believe it's almost time. Just bring a mixed gender crew of Sap or Pirates and you've got it.

I've started on both of the trophies at the third stage. In about an hour I'll be attempting said trophies. I have males and females of every guild, and am willing to swap them around to combat males/females of every guild. Just send me a mail in-game and wait for me in the Level Room. I'm sure we can work something out.

Okay, so I was working on a new deck and I was going to put The Dragon's Awakening and Draconium in the same deck for combination usage.
However, while I can put The Dragon's Awakening in the deck, I cannot put Draconium in, as it is still shown darkened.

I like the idea of a time penalty either way.
Following League of Legends example, it does reduce the leavers quite a bit.

Not quite the "deck of my dreams," but I've never been very lucky with packs, and have never been able to hold onto much more than 3k gold...
So, I built this deck:

This deck, despite its off-color appearance, usually generates about 45% wins. Main weaknesses include Courtesans, Dragon Knights, and Witchblades... I hate Magic Attack.

Now that all the negative is done, one of the reasons the DK's are so effective is that once they are loaded up on armor, swords and Crystal Shelfs, they dont really NEED to chain, since they are pretty much topped out. Bomzar would get none of their benefits. Eglantyne and Moira can use The Dragon's Awakening which would allow them to gain the benefits of the attack+ from the swords as well as use them herself...selves...
Really the only way I see Bomzar being very good is with Aerouant the Crystalomancer, in which case he does some severe damage. Using him, Aerouant the Crystalomancer and probably Pilkim or Prophet, would make for a great mage team, in which case he would be better suited for it then the witchblades, but I dont think he is suited for being on a Dragon Knight team.
The good thing about Bomzar and his golem-ness is being able to use things like The Dragon's Awakening without having to worry about its caste, (and become a Dragon Knight itself,) which helps with the swords. Plus, as it's a scroll and can then be chained to another sword, it can be rather helpful. Not that it would help with any of the passive benefits from characters, I'm just throwing it out there for the benefit of golem-kind.
Bomzar is, without the benefits of turn orders and Aeronaut, still the better in average stats at 6.25 as opposed to 5.875.
I suppose though, that on the down-side of things is the losing out on the Marauder class use. At which point, since only one person would be able to use Smart Ass, it might be better to have a Genius in there somewhere... for the Spirit issue, of course.

You are paying player, we are talking about free players having trouble (and don't say you are not paying, only paying players can sell cards)
Free players can take surveys and get cheap packs so they may then sell their cards.

3 - Kotoba don't need to be left out!
No, no, their items are too big. Kotoba already benefits from Emperor's Speech, Shuriken, Firon, Wakazashi, etc, etc.
Xin and two craftsman is already big enough with Ramen and Jourus and their respective items. Think of how it would be if there were a golem able to benefit from Xin and Asajiro AND be able to chain Kotoba AND be able to use their actions, (double bonuses on attack? Crazy.)
