You're preaching it to the choir, brother.

Faith in Feerik restored.

I love seeing interaction between admin/mods, devs and users.  Makes me smile inside.

Nurvus, I've been stalking your posts and topics for a while and I can't understand why Feerik hasn't put you under their employ as a consultant.

Brilliant posts, mate.  Keep doing what you do.  YOU will change this game for the better.  Just give it some time.  People will hear you and Feerik will hear the people.

I thought my post would be good publicity.  Eager candidate/bump this topic to the top.

Wow! This is exactly the kind of clan an English speaking player like me needs!!!  Can I join?

That's a true story regarding Civil War, when it decides to dick around and do direct damage. I thought that was just me being unlucky. tongue

I'm currently only missing 3x Sliding but otherwise it's complete. I plan to run this in ELO soon.

I wish you the best of luck!  I'd love to see a WB deck in top 32!  What are the 5 cards you're adding?  I don't know which ones to add while keeping the same efficiency.

Civil War was promising at first.  I might forgive it's unreliability if it had chain.  But other than that, I can't risk throwing my computer for Civil War having a place in my deck. lol.

Oh, btw, what's your in game ID, pek?  Add me:  Andrew_Cabitac

Just thought I'd post an update on how this deck is doing.
And I'll post one more once I've played 100 times with this deck.

Hmmm... Didn't know about the prerequisite 1300 wins with one guild.  But, I'm much closer to that than I am to reaching lvl 20.  Desert wooden bow is the only item I have left to buy.

I've been using a single Mental Prison and a single Immobilization in my version, but I'm liking your new sniper idea. I might tweak into this tonight.

EDIT: Some thoughts.

1. I don't know the card with the single copy on the upper right, beside Mental Prison. It appears to be a trophy card, but I am not sure. Would you object if it was Civil War instead?

2. This deck still has five slots open for ELO tournaments, which I like. I'll be able to squeeze in some personal favorites, like the 3rd copy of Witchrage and an extra Neutralization, and maybe some Witchblade Secrets. I wouldn't run the full 3 copies of Mental Prison though, 2 feels enough, because I think Mage matchups can mostly be answered by timely plays of Neutralization.

3. How does it feel not having the Witchblade Armors? In my experience they're pretty useful defensively.

4. The decks that beat you might be beatable with Extinction or The Door to Infinity as a single copy in this deck. Or maybe one copy of Tornado?

1) [card]Break the Second Chain[/card] is that single card. I find it useful if i need to pull out a sliding or another mental prison. As for the Civil War, Why would I object?  It's your deck.  It just seemed to be a little too unreliable.  It hardly did the kind of damage I'd need.  when I wanted physical, it'd do magic and vice versa.  And it would piss me off to no end if I used it with trump and it did direct damage.  That once-in-a-while super combo with Crystal Dragon was awesome, but banking on it got me killed more often than not.

2)Yeah, I don't know what 5 cards I should squeeze in to make it ELO competitive.  I can't wait until they make it back to normal life and 20 cards, if they ever will.

3)At first I didn't think I could win without them.  But with the lack of X cards like Dance of the Blade or Rain of Death in my deck, I found that they kind of jammed up my deck.

4)The Door to Infinity... The only card I feel I'm missing.  Can also be played a second and a third time via Break the Second Chain.

#12 Re : Deck and Strategy » Kotoba is back! (Competitive Imperial) » 12-11-2012 09:45:57

Playtesting with scrap paper?  Why didn't I think of that?  I would have saved so many poorly spent crystals...

I actually thought [card]Master Ma[/card] and [card]Furagu[/card] were up in here when I read the post title.

#13 Re : Deck and Strategy » Witchblade Advice and Strategies » 12-11-2012 09:40:06

Corruptions are tough.  It's like the one turn I don't have a mental siphon or break the 2nd chain, they nail me with [card]tiredness[/card] and [card]entropy[/card] and then I start to see a long list of cards bein played that turn.

I might take your advice however.  Maybe cutting a mental siphon for neutralisation to add a slight amount of chain and better control against courtiers and mages. I mean even with two mental siphons, break the 2nd chain makes it like having four copies of it, yeah?

#14 Re : Deck and Strategy » Witchblade Advice and Strategies » 12-11-2012 09:12:17

Nope.  Don't need TLA+TTD or Rain of death.  I would like to get my hands on dissidence.  But I lack the feez to purchase it.

Pirate Snipers didn't need an AoE.  This deck works fine without it.  That is, until I get The Door to Infinity.

And sliding is not so bad.  Especially paired with trump.

I've never had a deck run so well.  51 wins and 14 losses?  I have a tough time arguing with those results.

#15 Re : Deck and Strategy » Witchblade Advice and Strategies » 12-11-2012 04:09:19

Check it out.  It's a WB sniper/Item Counter/Mage Control deck.

*EDIT* The stats got cut off... They're supposed to read
Edits: 0
Wins: 51
Losses: 14
Draws: 0
530763_551519364865112_1470075435_n.jpg

Weaknesses:  Those losses came from Corruption, Wild Buds, and Zil Priest decks.  Oh, and that freakin' [card]Kaes the Malevolent[/card]...

I've had close calls with:
-Ourenos Decks, But I'm still able to smack him down.
-Zil Marauder/dagger decks.  Against [card]Saphyra the Zil[/card], [card]Abomination[/card], and [card]Telendar[/card] I usually end up with one or two characters at the end who have 3 or less life.
-Nomad Marauders.  A battle of OSK's.  Thank goodness Nadarya is so resilient and [card]crystal dragon[/card]'s debuff.
-Any pirate deck that uses [card]Admiral Al Killicrew[/card].  [card]Captain Al Killicrew[/card] is a pushover.  The other pirate decks are a breeze.

This deck owns warriors in general. I've seen so many rage quits against kotoba decks, S.A.R.A.H. or queen decks. Against immortals if you can one shot Urakia or Snipe her on turn 2, expect to see a rage quit.  I have yet to lose against a Black Witch also.  They just love to be choked down with mental prisons.

Questions?  Compliments?  Insults?  Suggestions?

#16 Re : Card Ideas/ Fan Art » 2013: the year of the Snake Event Cards » 11-11-2012 04:36:16

Serpentarius (Counts for three characters)
warrior - marauder

Serpentarius may only chain cards that have no class or guild affiliation.
Spell immunity.
Turn 3: If serpentarius is alive at the end of turn you win.

Spirit - 0
Attack - 0/1
Defense - 15
HP - 3

#17 Re : FAQs » Get it off me. » 10-11-2012 23:11:29

Not quite.  I'm looking for cards to remove corruptions, root, and put up job from my characters.

#18 Re : FAQs » Get it off me. » 10-11-2012 22:43:25

[card]Extinction[/card] and [card]Closure[/card] are a bit too slow and conditional.  Not exactly what I'm looking  for, but it's close.

[card]Revival[/card] is counter-productive to my deck.  In my 20 card deck, 9 cards are meant to be attached to my own characters.

[card]Breaker[/card] would be awesome but it's really made for non-multiclass mages.  Oh, and you can only get rid of cards equipped to the opponent.

[card]The Door to Infinity[/card].  This is exactly the kind of card I want.  But, as you said, I have to be level 20 for that.  I'm close to level 18, so that means I probably won't have access to DtI for another year because of the high level curve.

Am I being too picky?

#19 Re : FAQs » Get it off me. » 10-11-2012 11:35:58

Well, I was looking for cards that get rid of other cards that are placed on me.  Such as corruptions, [card]root[/card], or [card]put up job[/card].

What are some other cards where I can remove opponents spells? They have to be able to be used by a [card]Noz - mage - marauder[/card] character. I'm having a rough time against Nehantist Corruption decks and Wild Buds. I want something other than:

+ [card]The Door to Infinity[/card]
+ [card]Sliding[/card]
+ [card]Clumsiness[/card]

Any ideas?

Is there any other way to get this card other than having to be level 20 and buying it from the store?

#22 Re : FAQs » Level up? » 09-11-2012 01:31:38

Yeah, I'm in a clan.  Even with the "Thirst of Knowledge" I, II and III on, I still don't seem to be leveling up that much faster.

#23 Re : FAQs » Eredan's Wisdom » 09-11-2012 01:02:36

I've never really come across a real bug.  Everything I thought that was, was actually my error.  Are they pretty expedient when it comes to fixing bugs?

So... I've been stuck at level 17 for, what seems, a long time.  It feel as though I've been at it for 6 months.  What else can I do to level up faster? I play in the level rooms pretty regularly, and I farm the Malandrin mission in the Zahal Adventure for perfects.

#25 Re : FAQs » Eredan's Wisdom » 09-11-2012 00:50:29

It costs 90,000 cx.  I'd like a little more of a definitive answer please.
