I wonder if it can compete to some meta decks ( the pack for example ) because most of priest deck just sucks neutral

Runic Priest deck is no different. I dont see it competing with meta decks

yes
atm. it is only katamaru and art of tracking that increase attack by spirit and playbable by tracker. lets wait another release
eventhought human tracker isn't really powerful
they are quite competitive using semi-defense deck with item and other stuff like kotoba shadow+acrobatic fight.
They can do sure killing when you [card]to track down[/card] enemy.
+ shuikhan human give all human tracker a min attack 10 to all tracker (almost all human tracker have min 7 + 3 = 10)

If trackers got more cards that are specifically for the tracker Caste like Lurking in the Shadows or To Track Down I would have a better usage for Vital Point for them

now that the art of tracking is back in the SR i would go for guam trackers. other then the line up and art of tracking all the cards are super cheap.

mine is at 77/16  its my best win ratio deck and only removal decks and good draws on zil dagger give me any issues

I dont want to be like everyone else so screw guem trackers and plus they dont work with Satsume which is the prime reason Im even touching Kotoba

#5 Re : Deck and Strategy » Human Tracker Advice » 05-07-2012 01:48:30

Before I seen this I had made a deck consisting of

Tsuro
Shui Khan
Satsume

Acrobatic Fight x2
Assault on Brahamir
Fierce Lion x1 (for Noz Mages and Pirates)
Kotoba Shadow x1
Karukai Tooth x1
Kunai x1
Life Devourer x2
Lurking In the Shadows x1
Paranoia x1
Sens of Danger x2
Shuriken x2
Steel Body x1
Tracker's Emblem x1
Tracker's Mask x2
Transmission Of Knowledge x1
Art of Tracking x1

And It kinda seem like I got an general idea on a build but I still need some help with it. I know its a glass cannon type deck so I dont expect it to reach over 1600 elo but I still want to make it viable in the level room at least

I got Satsume from the tower and I finally decided to cave in and make a Kotoba Deck. More specifically Human Trackers. Problem is I dont have a clue on what cards should be in a Human Tracker deck so, that brings me here. Any Ideas to make this deck somewhat useful somewhere ????

#7 Re : Deck and Strategy » Powder pirates » 30-06-2012 04:33:41

Hell I havent seen her in the market which makes me a very sad pirate fan

#8 Re : Deck and Strategy » Sap Heart Guem » 27-06-2012 19:49:57

I seen this deck idea alot in the level rooms and it gets rubbed out quickly due to the vast amount of removal of non item cards in the game. If you facing a deck with non removal cards then you might win.

I've never used him (yet) but I would imagine you might want to pair him up with like either some lightning guelemites or mages focusing on lightning cards...

Just a thought though... Seeing as how he can use any lightning spell regardless of guild or caste.

I also thought it might be neat to pair him up with master mystic slayer and set up a deck that is immune to various spell types.

Yea the immunity deck has been covered in an earlier topic already but you can use him with pirate mages and use the Noz Lightning Bolts. Or just use him in a warrior deck and make him a jerk to deal physical wise with by using Dance of the Thunder Snakes etc etc. There is alot you can do with him. Your creativity is what will set you apart from other players

Elfine seems fun to play but their lack of defense makes them not so strong .

Multirace is more competitive and cheaper . But if you love girls ( like i do ) , go for the elf

I do love them girls and I was about to do that until I heard of the possible Pirate Legendary so I will see what that looks like then decide on what to spend my cx on

#12 Re : Deck and Strategy » Noz AM boss » 24-06-2012 01:36:15

He heals every turn due to Chimera remove Chimera problem solved. Sap mages use freeze or Devouring Swarm. Noz usea freeze breaker etc etc

I'd replace Lady of Nehant with [card]Chalice[/card] lv3. That thing is pretty brutal with 2x [card]Dark Fury[/card] or that card which deals 5 damage when your character dies, can't remember its name.

If he uses Chalice he would have to redo over half his deck seeing that its built for high hp for the use of curse items, Guems to cast kiss to heal and assassination for the 2 marauders he have

As far as I know that doesn't work.. Since helmet activates at the start of the fight when cards have been played already. Atleast [card]Skyward boots[/card] won't let [card]Hakim[/card] play Theurgies every turn, Tho I haven't tested it again in few months

I tried doing that again for the trophy today it still do not work

#15 Re : Deck and Strategy » Deck Ideas?? » 21-06-2012 23:59:07

I was thinking about making a battle mage sap heart deck but Fe'y and soil prices are all over the place at the moment since wild buds in adventure mode got harder to farm with but meh

use the pack its about 200-600k depending on if you use legendary cards or not.
its banned this week(fenrath but a less powerful version with no face isnt too bad) but im sure it will be back soon, for about 500 you can get a pretty good zil dagger deck (without living shadow) or if you like to play wild buds you may like crystal storm. runic priests isnt bad my deck is 55/23 not to shabby but there is a chain bug with honor the enemy.

I personally dont like Zil characteristics so I dont touch the zil guild, Crystal storm is too common, too easy to deal with and, too weak. Runic priests down right blow imo. I have never lost against them.

The suggestions were nice but its just not my cup of tea. I need something that is fun to work with and does not revolve around a simple strategy.

Nerf over!

Well Wild Buds is actually still pretty scary, the +5 to +3 just make it so you opponent plays Wild Buds earlier not much lost.

If you have half a Mil Cx then get yourself a Noz mage Blaster deck.
A fully functioning deck can cost you over 5 mil Cx.
But if you skip the Legendary and use Fireballs over RoD you can have a pretty scary and close deck.

Hand lock is viable and sometimes more effective than blaster decks.

Because Harshness got shot and mugged by the Nerf gang, you don't have to fear getting one-shotted even if you don't draw double clay or Magic servant.

Ah noz my very first deck. I used to think they were the stuff then most noz decks require no strategy and my runic legion deck trashes a lil over half the noz blast decks so im turned off by them

well wild buds did take a hit but nothing like I personally thought would happen. there still a viable deck.

what deck types do you currently run for starters? otherwise you might get pointed down a road you have already been down

I have a sniper deck (thinking about infernal crickets and outlaws)
Powder Pirates v1 (Killicrew Armada Bragan) v2 (Killicrew Clover Flammara)
Runic Legion (Hares Coranthia Agillian)
Temple Guardians (Sakina Shrikan Hakim)

Well, nerf day has came and I know some people are upset but back to the original reason this thread was started. I have a little over half a million crystals and I was wondering what should I invest the crystals in? Upgrade a current deck, get another legendary or make a new deck altogether.

I run one of them, albeit without the newly released cards

runic lord xenophon
runic warrior loquitus
consul neixiram

stamping 3x cor
power of the colossus 2x
resistance 2x
runic power 2x cor nox
ceremonial 1x nox
protection of the pantheon 2x nox
haresian force 2x
runic shield 2x cor
nemarian trident 2x
war cry 1x
dissidence 1x

total : 20 cards

pretty good, solid deck, the main strategy is repel and remove, while at the same time increase our own powers.. it eats mage decks and anything that depend on permanent cards, weak versus beatdown decks such as zil, deirf geiss etc

stamping is the workhorse, they will easily reduce towering defenses to rubble.. haresian force and power of the colossus is the trump cards, I had nehant demon-raise deck rage quit against me after I repelled all of their combo smile)

I chose nemarian tridents because not only they give the minotaurs fearsome attack bonus, if played strategically they also give supportive +2 to damage dealt, which is really helpful against most defensive and elusive decks out there..

the main weak link is the supply of nox runes, while consul neixiram gets it every turn, the two other minotaurs mainly depend on ceremonial (which is not chainable by war-guems) and sometimes from protection of the pantheon (chainable only to runic items) or runic power for xenophon

I surely hope that the next runic legion update will introduce some armored-like card that restricted only to war-guems, give them nox rune and also chainable

comments are appreciated smile

I like it but I plan on running the new cards since Runic Slicer seems so useful but im waiting on the card balance patch to spend my cx on a whole new deck

Priests are pretty darn tanky.  I don't know if you've ever played against them, but they're like a Timex:  Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

I play against them all the time and I never lost once and not the half assed priests deck either. The only priest I use is Coranthia in combination with Hares and Agillian and them 3 works wonders on most decks I play against except foamy stacks

I wanted to know if anybody runs or have seen a decent to good RL War Guems deck. The new releases makes them look playable and I want to run another type of Runic Legion deck and I refuse to do pure preists because they are weak to me imo.

Idk. Runic priests are slow and easily smashed from personal experience
