- Each mission is worth 10 Energy points.
- Missions are unlocked on after the other.
- You get a little chance of winning 30 Amethysts at the end of each mission. The more the mission is high in level, the more chances you get of obtaining Amethysts.
- You get a chance of winning the following cards: [card]Hrimnir's crown[/card], [card]Hrimnir's right claws[/card] and [card]Hrimnir's left claws[/card]. The chances you have of obtaining these cards increase on each victory until you get the card. You can win the rewards only once.

Here are the rewards you can obtain during these missions:

[card]Hrimnir's crown[/card]. Collector, Jewel Item, Unique. Spirit +1 and -1 to magic damage points suffered. Ice Elf: "Hrimnir's right claws" present in your Deck or in your Hand is played. Permanent

[card]Hrimnir's right claws[/card]. Collector, Claw One hand Weapon Item, Unique. Attack +2/+1. Berserker: "Hrimnir's left claws" present in your Deck or in your Hand is played. Permanent.

[card]Hrimnir's left claws[/card]. Collector, Claw One hand Weapon Item, Unique. Attack +1/+2. If your character has his Rage bonus: An additional Attack +1. Dual Wield "Hrimnir's right claws". Permanent.

There are different ways to obtain Amethysts:
- At the end of the missions of The Althing campaign, you get a chance to obtain 30 Amethysts.
- In each 12 card booster, you get 100 Amethysts.
- You can also buy 100 Amethysts for 199 Fee'z.
- You can gather Amethysts during games too. In player versus player fights, Amethysrs will appear on screen regularly. Click to gather them. If you leave a game, you lose the Amethysts you won during that game.
What can I obtain during this event? You can spend your Amethysts in the store to:
- Buy the Althing Action card for 300 Amethysts.
- Buy the Fyrnir character card for 500 Amethysts.
- Buy the King Hrimnir character card for 500 Amethysts.
- Buy a Mystery card for 99 Fee'z or 200 Amethysts.

[card]The Althing[/card]: Collector, Action, Unique. At the end of the fight, if your Health points are inferior to 1, they turn to 1 and all the cards you are wearing are discarded.

[card]Fyrnir the ancient[/card]: Mythical, Character, Mercenaries, Priest, Berserker, Ice Elve, Male. Spirit 2. Attack 7/9. Defense 2. Health points 16. You obtain your Rage bonus as long as one of your Ice Elves has it. Rage: you change your appearance and your characters win 1 to 2 Health points at the start of each turn. Turns 4 and more: Attack +2.

[card]King Hrimnir[/card]: Collector, Character, Mercenaries, Berserker, Undead, Ice Elf, Male. Spirit 1. Attack 8/9. Defense 1. Health point 16. Rage: "King Hrimnir" changes his appearance and your Berserkers have Attack +1. At the end of the fight, "King Hrimnir" heals 1 Health point if he has two Weapons of the same type attached to him. Odd turns: Defense +2.

I think this is a great event and want to thank Feerik for giving us the ability to buy boosters and obtain event cards that way too. In effect, I'm doing what I want to do with my feez anyway while moving ahead more and more in the event at the same time. This event doesn't require strength or special cards, so any newbie can play as long as they have time or money to devote. Overall, I think this is a great event!

As for the new mythical ice elf, he's a beast! And I love the priest/berserker mix.

The first 2 missions were easy enough for my WT warriors, but the third one... I'm guessing discard would work? Hint: Hidden effect removes all cards attached to the chars in battle.

I want all the cards, but I'd need to buy 5 booster packs to get the characters... then again... I suppose I could just directly buy the amnethyst for half the amount... or something... Well we'll see how many I can earn from matches... Part of me just wants to directly get the crystals for the characters.

But the other part of me wants to get boosters so I have a better chance of getting the new stone heart cards.

Play 17 games and you win enough to avoid to buy a booster.
Play 50 games and you gain the althing
Play 84 games and you gain one character.

So with 218 games in the week, you gain all the cards.
This means 32 games by a day and assume you don't have chance with the Adventure mission.

Not so difficult to do I believe.

Get the boosters. Amnetysts are easy to gather. I got 60 with 1 energy bar and the 2 first items (the claws).
You can get about 6 amnethysts per battle and you need 1300 to buy all cards. So you need 217 battles to gather all coins. Easy.

The difficult part is having the patience for 32 games a day... lol, but if I can use whatever deck I want I suppose it won't be so bad.

O.K. time for math -

15% chance for 30 Widgets each victory on the third mission

15%= about 1 in 6

so about every 6 victories should be 30 Widgets

300 / 30 = 10

10 x 6 = 60

so sixty victories to get the first card;

500 / 30 = about 16.5

16.5 x 6= 99

so 99 more victories for each additional card;

60 + 99 + 99 = 258 total victories

each mission cost 10 time points

258 * 10 = 2580 total time points

five min for each time point to regenerate;

2580 x 5 = 12900 min OR 215 hours OR about 9 days....

better get a bigger Mountain Dew cup.

You don't have to win all games, just play them

Remember you can have chance and win some amethyst in the adventure mode.

The goal is achieve 190 amethyst per day.
Do it in playing or paying considering your time and game motivation but don't say it's impossible like the end of world was. There was no way to have the cards for free.

Here, you have a real chance to do it for free.

Impressions about event aside old Hrimnir and berserker items.

Pros:

Everything obtainable.
Nice unique action card.
Interesting and powerful hero.
Card prizes at event missions - I've had seen only commons so far, but even commons alright when there has been none in the past.

Cons:

Another dumb grind with some chance at luck on missions, and luck need to be high enough, even 15% is frustrating. Two wins of 30 Amethysts a day or so. Would have been better if missions accumulated score consistently, let's say for 3 wins - 30 Amethysts.
Althing is broken. It grants utmost immortality, if some end-of-fight damaging effects cards haven't been used by opponent.
