Any tips for a more reliable way to beat this guy? I've beat him twice and only cause i got lucky and he didn't hit me with his extra attack to often and I got all my items on aelide.
Any ideas of what would be good for beating this guy consistently? The biggest issue is that extra physical attack...

The Pack or Runic Priests, or Kotoba warriors, or my Asajiro Geis Artaban deck.

Closest thing I have to that is kotoba, and any kotoba in particular? I know eventually i wanted to set up a tracker deck but I don't think that's what you meant.

Highly defensive ones. Master Ma, Xin the Ironbringer, Asajiro. Or any build similar.

Woot! Now I never have to do that stupid mission again... I've now unlocked water elemental and sorrows harpoon... I have no reason to go back to him now!

my craftsmen, with jorus, ramen and aelide
The success rate wasn't the best but it was the higehst out of any deck I had. It all came down to luck and whether or not he'd get the 1 in 2 chance of doing the extra attack and depending on who he hit.
Next I need to focus on unlocking satsume (and eventually earth elemental but I'm a little ways off from that yet)
