Hi! I recently missed the 18th's card on the Advent Calendar, and on the 19th I purchased it with 15 Fee'z. Afterwards, I went to the Marketplace to sell some cards, and I was greeted with this:
You can sell your cards in the Marketplace after purchasing Fee'z (through the bank).
This access is granted for a period of 3 weeks the moment you buy Fee'z or if you purchased something with Fee'z (booster, trophy, energy pack...) (this period is updated with each new transaction). Would you like to obtain Fee'z now?
Since I know I spent Fee'z (15 have been deducted from my total before 12/19/12) which appears to qualify me for the Marketplace according to the text, why am I not given access to my 3 weeks of being able to sell cards in the Marketplace?
I look forward to your reply!
Thanks,
NagaTheSerpent

Bad news, I asked to the staff for this specific case : This is intended.
I don't like this, but there is nothing I can do.

Why and when they changed this rule? It is specifically written that whenever you used feez to purchase anything in this game you will have access to the marketplace. And as far as I'm concerned this has been the case since the beginning of the game and then changing it suddenly w/o even informing the players. Another bad move by Feerik, really bad.

In fact the rule is : Everything you buy in Feez in the store opens the market. (Crystal Packs and Energy are counted in it)
The "favour exception" leads to believe than anything bought in Feez gives access to the market.

Are you sure about that? If I remember correctly I've read a post by one of the staffs about a year or two ago that said everytime a player used feez in this game they will have access to the market. And I've never read anything saying they changed it otherwise. As a matter of fact I've tested that in last year's Advent wall where I spent feez on an unopened latch and got myself market privilege for 3 weeks.

I have confirmed information from staff about that.
If you check what you can buy in Feez in the game :
- Booster => give access
- Energy => give access
- Deck => give access
- Trophy => give access
- Crystal pack => give access
- Adventure mode favor => give access (but shouldn't)
That's all for the "normal" period of the game.
Here we have an exceptional way to spend Feez with the calendar.
And it doesn't open the access.
For my point of view, this is a bad move, but I'm not part of the staff.

Ah well. The English message that pops up when attempting to sell cards without having spent Fee'z in the store is misleading in this regard, but if that's the official ruling I can live with it.
Thank you for checking on this issue for me Zurga!

Wait, Favors "SHOULDN'T" give access to the market?
Adventure mode - made to have players try new decks. But Bosses are unbeatable.

Aren't you glad it does?
Never lost a fair game... or played one.

I'm glad buying favors lets me sell the cards I get through the daily quests. Very glad. But this means that it should not let me into the market and thus will probably get 'fixed'.
Probably drop out the game when/if that happens.
