Kotoba is back! (Competitive Imperial)

So I know I just posted the deck regarding SARAH very recently, but I dropped the idea when I "playtested" it with scraps of paper, concluding the deck to be too reliant on too many factors. So I decided to look at the original imperial trio. For now, my deck list is:

Iro the DUELIST
Asajiro
Gakyusha

3x Emporer's Speech
3x Wakizashi
3x Life Devourer
3x Weapons at Will
2x Clumsiness
1x The best defense...
1x kensensei
3x Kusanagi
1x Journey
3x Military Strategy
2x Heavy Armor

Still not too sure what to main deck....should I put heavy armor? Strength of  Kotoba?

And I'll try to promote iro to the champion....but hes just so expensive right now

Also, how would you think this would fare in ELO?

Playtesting with scrap paper?  Why didn't I think of that?  I would have saved so many poorly spent crystals...

I actually thought [card]Master Ma[/card] and [card]Furagu[/card] were up in here when I read the post title.

Well, that's another thing. I don't know if I should replace Gakyusha with Master Ma....

Also, I'm now heavily considering Taichi Sword..

So after looking around the forums more, I decided on an improvised deck.

Iro the DUELIST

3x Glory to the Emporer
2x Keep your guard up!

[card]Master Ma[/card] is a good card because of his skill enabling buffs for your men as long as u activate armor or weapon. You may want to consider him.
Also the legendary Iro xzia's champion is a better replacement over Iro duelist.
Then you can go for [card]corrupted[/card] + [card]taichi sword[/card] combo.
Can look into [card]masamune's armor[/card]
Furagu can help to fight against aoe mages because of his healing skill. Though he has low life to begin with.

But for kots warriors to be competitive is rare.

Niiiice. So I will replace Gakuyasha with Master Ma. In addition,  I will look into using 3 Corrupteds. Might consider 1-2 Masamune Armors.
However, I still need to save up for legendary Iro first.

Anything else?

Yup, and legendary Iro is the only one that can play it in a kot warrior deck.
