Break the second chain bug

There´s a bug with break the second chain, playing with pirate mages, i play break the second chain and it indeed plays the spell ive chosen from my discard pile, but it dont play the effects of the spell, ive done this with non AoE spells, e.g. dance of the thunder snakes and electroshok, the card shows up but theres no effect nor damage dealt from it, Whats wrong with it?

please read the card carefully.

and if that doesnt help then try to observe what happens with your guild symbol while playing 2nd chain

Wash the spears... while the sun climbs high.
Wash the spears... while the sun climbs low.
Wash the spears... who fears to die?
Wash the spears... no one I know!

Spell Nehantic-Unique
Your character becomes a Nehantist.
Choose a spell in your discard pile, it is placed in your deck and this spell´s copy is created and played.
At the end of the fight Break the second chain is removed from the game.

Sorry, but i still dont get it. It should play the spell, with its effects, and as i said before, the card shows up but theres no effect from it, what im missing here?.

when your character is a nehantist... he wont be able to play a pirate spell... so either you play a non-guild-related spell like fireball OR you are nehantist and play a nehantistic spell

Your character becomes Nehantist.
So your character is able to play only nehantic spells and non guilded spells.

Draw your own conclusions wink
