I'm sure a few ppl have figured it out by now, but for those that haven't, Enigma 3 seems to be based on the relationships between the guilds. I posted earlier that I got 2 of the shards after beating Kotoba with the pack in PvE. I also got shards for #3 for each of the following:
kotoba deck=> Noz mission
Noz deck=> Zil and Zahal boss mission(might also work for the Ritual too)
Nomad deck=> Sap Heart mission
These are the only ones I've tried but I hope it helps.

Tried 3 Kotobas againsts Noz mission 1, no shard

I got 4 shards - nº2, 3, and 2*6 - playing immortal against Zahal 2nd mission.

Okay, so I have two theories for enigma number five.

It says that he wants to fight with everyone, strong and weak. and with everything he can get his hands on.

Keep in mind that we're pretty sure you need the stranger in your deck to do this.

Theory 1: items... I tried this out with a 50 item deck and it didn't seem to work but it may be some variation such as weapons etc.

Theory 2: characters... Rather than taking fight with everyone as fight against everyone what about fight with everyone as an ally? I haven't tried it out yet and I won't get a chance until tonight. Hopefully it will be either confirmed or debunked by that point.

Could be based on class or race. Right now I have him fighting with two witchblades in PVE. No shards yet.

I won a lot of times w/ a deck using Stranger in the PvP and PvE but haven't gotten a single shard for #5 yet. Though in those battles Stranger is doing nothing and I'm just letting him use his items then getting him killed as fast as possible. So I'm guessing the condition for #5 is to let Stranger use different cards (as the clue states: "I want to do everything, fight as hard as I can with anything I can put my hand on") or increase his stats in a certain amount to get a shard.

I finally finished the 2nd, but 6 is still weird, and I haven't been able to beat the Tempus and Ritual missions.

We sure yet on what Enigma 5 and 6 are? And yeah, I know that I need to win PVP for some. Doing that is hard when I'm almost always fighting against High level Noz, Kobota, and Runic decks.

My 'best' deck to PVP with The Stranger is him, Sen Ryaku, and Asajiro in a makeshift 'beatdown' deck. So, no, I don't think I'm going to get the 11 shards for N1.

New line of topic, anyone get anything good from the random cards they have up? And are they random per player or just a set 4?

i got 3 shards for no.6 after just One Game. All of my opponent's characters were foil cards!

I guess you might be right because i just got a point for no.6 at Runic Boss and before i didn't. Anyway this is a enigma we can't control at all, it's based on luck. Eventually i guess we'll get them all but still...
Number 3 seems to be working for me because i play the Inferno's [card]Perversion[/card] reward so i guess it's about card rarity.

Anyone find all 12 backgrounds for #6? I got 10 but don't know how/where to find the last 2. Maybe there are a couple of obscure backgrounds hidden somewhere in the adventure mode?

For Enigma 5 I got a shard or two by beating PVE levels, but then it just stopped. Do you have to cycle from tournament, to PVP to PVE to keep getting shards?
