I've managed, I passed it. It was much more complicated than it seemed. But I eventually made it, now, I am here on the land of Guem. This world reeks of magic, I understand why we never succeeded. I can't go back now. I must achieve my mission, even if I were to die. But to achieve my mission, I must invoke my equipment thanks to Shards. The people of this world use them quite a lot without knowing what they are.

You have until Wednesday September 5th 2012 at noon, (French time) to take part in the Stranger's adventure, after that it will not be available anymore.

The Stranger and the Shards

To achieve his mission, the Stranger will have to find his entire equipment made of 4 different parts. For that, you must gather Shards, these mysterious pieces of magic crystal.

To obtain these Shards, you will have to complete enigmatic trophies. There are 6 series of trophies, you will have to guess what the challenges are thanks to the mysterious descriptions you are given.

Once you will have collected the entire equipment of the Stranger, you will obtain [card]the Stranger[/card].

What can I win during this event?

You can spend your Shards is the Stranger's store to:

- Buy the Stranger's equipment: Each card is sold for 16 Shards. You can only buy them one after the other (Helmet => Armor => Gloves => Saber).

- Buy a Surprise card. This card can be a Legendary, a Rare or an Uncommon one, it can also be a card from a former event. This booster costs 30 Shards or 99 Fee'z.

You need Shards? You get a pack of 8 Shards free each time you buy a NewComer booster, you can also buy it separately for 199 Fee'z.

[card]The Stranger's Saber[/card]: Collector. Unique, One hand Weapon Item. Permanent. Attack +1. The Stranger: an additional Attack +1 for each one of the Stranger's Items in play.

[card]The Stranger's Armor[/card]: Collector. Unique, Weapon Item. Permanent. Defense +1. The Stranger: Defense +1 for each one of the Stranger's Items in play.

[card]The Stranger's Helmet[/card]: Collector. Unique, Item of Clothing. Permanent. Spirit +1. The Stranger: an additional Spirit +1 for each one of the Stranger's Items in play.

[card]The Stranger's Gloves[/card]: Collector. Unique, Item of Clothing. Permanent. At the end of the fight, Heals 1 Heath point. Stranger: At the end of the fight, heals 1 additional Health point for each one of the Stranger's items in play.

did anyone else get the stranger card straight away instead of having to collect his equipment?

....i mean i have now got all the equipment because i wanted it anyway, but....i got him way before that when i signed in today?

That's normal. Same thing happened with the Valyntine event a few months ago.

Any ideas about the enigmatic quests? I am randomly getting shards and not knowing how I got them. Got some 2, 3 and 6 so far.

I think, that points for shred number 6, id for play with diffrent guilds. Of course, if that whole thing isn't random stuff...
First point in shred no.6 i made in first mission in Treasure of Zahal (stranger+zil characters),
then second point in shred no.6 i made in second chapter in Treasure of Zahal (stranger+kotoba characters). And in that second battle, i have point for second shard mission, and the third O.o kinda weird...

This is going to be a hard one to figure out. Everytime an objective is completed along with the award popping up it shows the even on the side and from what i've seen it looks like they each show 5/5 so that's why there's an inconsistancy in when you get the shards.

As for the sixth. You can get it playing the same deck (you don't need to play one of each guild) and you can get them playing against the same guild as you as can you playing consecutively. Therefore it has to be something unrelated... sigh.

is that possible that the second quest is to do the missions of every campaigns(11 campaign = 11 shard) in a row(maybe two missions is enough) = walk as much as you need

hey they give you different shards:
toxic level 2 give you shard from 2nd quest and satsume give you shard from 4th quest

Quest #2 and #4 - got a point for each by beating the last of the Tempest quest with a discard deck.

If it's like the last event that had this kind of buy, you can count on getting regular rares or uncommons at least as often as anything on the list of special cards. If I hadn't actually gotten some worthwhile rares and uncommons, I would have been rather annoyed -_-
