Need a little help with compendium deck

[card]luminosity[/card]x3
[card]magic servant[/card]x3
[card]drowning[/card]x2
[card]draconian sceptre[/card]x1
[card]double clay[/card]x2
[card]reborn[/card]
That unique card that gives you +4 magic and then permant +2

I'd like to use [card]compendium secret[/card], but is it worth it just to use a card from the graveyard?
Also I don't have that much crystals, is it worth making this deck if I can't buy compendium secret or other expensive cards like new start and hungry void?
Is it competitive enough without those rare cards, what other cards could I use to improve the deck?

well...
Compendium secret is THE OP card for compendium...
It is really good in order to get attracts lightning from your graveyard

The deck is really strong(I mean like top elo deck...)Only with 3 compendium secret, 3 attracts lightning and 3 Spark things off
(and those 3 cards are quite expensive)
So I would say don't build this deck if you don't have the cristals to do it...

(besides, why don't U use [card]crystal storm[/card]...?)

Well I am was just trying to see different kinds of compendium decks out there. I don't have the crystals for attracts lighting and spark things off, so I'm trying to get ideas for a different kind of compendium deck

ok, here is an idea of deck (it used to be compendium before CS came out)

Line up:
[card]Blanche of arcania[/card], [card]archmage anryena[/card], [card]the pythia[/card]

Permanent/item:
    [card]sylphide[/card]
    [card]Draconic Scepter[/card]   (=>[card]sceptre draconique[/card])

Spell:
2*[card]the dragon's breath[/card]
    [card]drawning[/card]
2*[card]double clay[/card]
3*[card]crystal storm[/card]
1*[card]luminosity[/card]

Actions:
3*[card]illumination[/card]
3*[card]Magic servant[/card]
2*[card]Ice crystals[/card]

I like to use a few trophy cards for the Compendium:

Free the Flame is great for playing havoc with play order; and gives an extra burst of damage. 

Uniqueness is great when you have all your Defenses and Spirit Buffs on one individual (and with Magic Servant you can play this several times a game)
