I dont find the 2 of cards you said

Yes Still Alive?! is a good card but i dont think opponent can do 6 damage to him in a turn...
so to + 3 attack quickly add more card like dismemberment to damage self

you can also use one of the scroll of the insane and i think fury potion to get desired effect but i dont think fury potion chains and the scroll may have limitations. there are a few more but i never use them more so just know what cards piss me off when im playing vs priests.

Also, haven't tested it, but [card]28 Zombies Later[/card] should be very deadly for taking out tapped enemies. If the fact that you don't have other characters is same as having 2 dead characters in game terms.
