Heresian Force Bug

The text says it's supposed to remove a NON-ITEM from the opposing character, but when I was playing against Runic Legion warrior deck with my Demon hunter, they removed a rosary of serenity which basically killed me.

This is for the first card, but if your opponent has a Nox Rune, he can remove the card he wants.
