3 tournaments will take place, one after the other (end on Wednesday 11th July at 2:00 PM (French time)), each tournament will last 2 days. The registration is free. You must choose one of the 8 decks available. Once you've chosen your Deck, you can't change it until the next tournament. (Caution, these decks are lent and accessible only for these tournaments).

Rewards:

At the end of each tournament, the first player of each guild will win the exclusive title "The Demigod" and the 30 000 crystals associated to it.

What's more, the great winner of each tournament will win 400 Fee'z.

The idea is actually pretty nice, i really like it

But the big influence of the random damage just decides many of the games, and not the skill. Its worse than in other tournaments. you should have mangaged this in a diference way, but in reality this tournament is like 80% luck based.

the decks are imbalanced too. like noz mages are pretty weak, mercenaries too, and kotoba/zil gonna be the strongest i guess

Basically, these will be the new starters for the new players.
So skills are not required, newbies don't have "skills" on the game.
You will play with only level 1 characters.
Remembers your first games, I doubt a lot that the skills enter in the picture.

I think that the decks will be adjusted at the margin if one of them has too much win against the others.
But basically, the list should be definitive one and the decks don't change.
You can choose another deck when the tournament is finished.

Just so you know, we've been working on these new starter decks for weeks (if not months). They should be more or less equals in terms of power.
This tournament is there for anyone to have fun with them, and for us to check if we did a good work tuning them (we've already made tests by ourselves, but we don't have the player panel to get good enough results).

So far i have only seen nehan , kotoba and zil deck

The merc deck seems to be a very big fail .

But overall , i like this although it reduces my win chance to 50/50

Lol man, everyone got the own opnion, on my opnion, the best decks are Pirates, Kotoba and Neantics.... I do think that the worst are Mercenaries(come on lucyan?), SAP and Noz(moira, no chain=BAD)

Hey zurga, can u answer me something, the old players gonna be able to buy these decks? Or feerik is just going to do as the new players, give them 400 feez and we dont gonna be able got it?

P.S.: No runic decks?

Runic is a difficult mechanic with the rune.
A deck with no rune won't work and you need to have access to the adventure mode to gain some runes.
So difficult at this time to create a Runic starter.

Be sure that Feerik has plans to give you access to theses decks.
But as time I write, I have no information on the way they will be accessible.

Each one has his preferred guilds and some decks will seem more powerful than others.
But be sure that all decks have somehow the same chance to win against any other deck.
They are starters, they are not good, optimised ones, the characters will stay level one.
Don't except miracles but don't be so sure that one of them will rules on all others.

All decks but Noz seem pretty balanced. Kotoba and Zil are perfect noob decks but I'll be surprised if they manage to win. Nehant, Pirates and Sap look fun to play with.

Also newbies might have trouble playing with an advanced deck like the Nehant (Lady of the Nehant + it's all fun and game and Cursed Crow mechanics)

Oh yeah and I hope the admins will check for arranged matches. In my opinion this is all that keeps Eredan from being the best online trading card game - the lack of a good system to discover cheaters, multi accounts etc.

i wonder what johann got to do with the kotobas... he is totally misplaced there... grrr whenever enemy starts i only can choose 2 out of 5 cards to play with him...

even though i think this is a great attempt on a new tournament to make everyone equal and even allow a level 12 player to dominate a level 22 player i still think that some guilds are not demonstrating their guild specific gameplay while others are made up quite well...

- kotobas lack a lot of armor... daggers ? why? they are for zil... kotobas need lances, swords and a 2 inch metal plate around their chests... (also johann should be removed)

- pirates so far i ve seen only 2 pirate codes... the whole gameplay of powder is totally decreased to its healing ability... also where are the guns?

- mercs... i think this is the dr.jackyl and mr.hide of feerik... they cant decide whether this is a full guild or not... in this tournament it actually is... but they have never had any big role besides their 2 castes... so imo they appear like a copy of kotoba

- sap would be way too heavy loaded with all the multiattack or nature spells but i think this deck is quite balanced indicating almost every type of deck sap can grow into

- zil also runs with a merc... i wonder why? discard is indicated by one card thus not being relevant at all but the idea of the guild to run fast and reckless decks is coming out quite well... here i miss the daggers that kotoba has too many of

- nehants imo the best deck in representing its guild... (but that may be caused to the little variety existing among the nehants) corruptions and demons and hand denial are found... the darkest side is indicated with cursed items but exactly these items make the deck itself a risky one which i dont see in any of the top nehant decks... they simply are not risky at all... they plan carefully and strike with quite some force

- nomads are another great deck but again a merc... why? you can find plenty of priests among the nomads and the limit is set by hakim not being able to play theurgies in every turn... healing and spiritual damage are shown and also the statsboost... everything here indicates a longlasting gamestyle even though recycling is left out

- noz... i never liked them but as i saw the decklist i thought: someone really hates them more then i do...! all magical damage is indicated... maybe compendium isnt because it would have been too strong but... they simply are too weak... like back in the days of the first 3 starter decks the noz were by far the weakest... they are put into that place again

thats just my personal impression so far on how far the decks are representing the guilds gameplay...

Just to say that the starter are exactly that they should be : starters.
If you list the current one, each one has a mercenary.
So the new ones will have one too.
Nehantist is a special case (no mercenaries allowed) and pirates received a derogation, others cases make them too strong or too weak.

As far as I know, the Noz are only weak because you don't play them.
They are the same chances as others.

When you make your remarks, try to keep in mind the limitation the creators of the decks faced :
- Put a mercenary
- Create a deck of 23 cards (including characters) with 1 rare, 5 uncommon and 17 commons (And it could have some limitations about the acts used, for sure you can forget the cards released since March).
- Present how the guild works, but nothing too complicated to avoid to loose the new players.
- All the decks should have the same chance to win against all others to keep the players interested.

Mix all of that and you have the current decks.

Really liked it, feerik went very good now, i would wish to see more pre-made deck competition, its nice to the new players, becuz it is not required spend a lot of feez, only strategy and luck, the gist of a TCG...

And its so good that this decks will be avaliable for old players, i'm really happy

P.S.: Why dont replace shadow on the neanth deck by the fallen? So the one's who want, can envolve him to the last evolution without spending cx

P.S.S.: Someone can answer me, starter deck is the CX ones or the Feez ones?
