There is a test server. They tests the decks they release. Perhaps not enough to avoid all the bug, but the tests are performed.

i am sorry zurga if my suggestion was disrespectful

i did not mean to imply that the staff does not have a test server i only meant a way so players who choose to could help play test all the cards of a release to so that it can limit:

A) cards that are op for reasons that the staff misses

B) to limit the saying that the staff does not test cards

And how am I supposed to just know these things when they don't release the information that such a server exists? Am I supposed to assume everything?

But Zurga, dont you see that it was nice to tell us about these things as well...?! there are severall other threads asking the same thing, wether the cards are tested or not. We simply never have been told that this exists...

its nice for you and the french forum with all the staff members around to always keep you up to date but in here/german/spanish forum we dont know yet because there still is a very little communication among staff and players...

so in this case i ll take mr.lordis side because YES indeed, he has to assume EVERY single thing...

I don't disagree with the original suggestion.
I'd love to access to a test room to help the staff.

I give you the information when I see a thread about a question, I don't see everything, you know, I'm only an human with a real life somewhere.

ye which is super nice... but you are a mod... not a paid staff member which at least in my point of view is responsible for this in the first place...

i have the deepest respect towards your volunteer work and i m just asking for more transparency from staff side

maybe its escpecially difficult because of the fluctuation of employees some time ago... i can understand that it is difficult to pick up the threads some other admin left behind...

i dont think that sapphon doesnt 'like' us... its the french community being well... bigger... thus needs more attention

as i recently learned we have one admin for the german forum which is responsible not only for the forum, but also for the german part of all (i really mean ALL) other feerik games and marketing, support and stuff... she only got 1 student to aid her.

the storyline is stuck in first or second act, her presence in the forum is quite limited as well as her knowledge about the game mechanics and stuff... this itself is all quite understandable because she simply has too many places to attend to then its possible to manage thus not even time to play this game to see things for herself...

why am i saying this?
because imo feerik is not employing enough ppl to supply all the forums but the french. sapphon is the only presence of staff activity in this part of the forum... in german forum we have even less of that presence... information are just given when things are running out of hand... this lack of input is what creates the most frustration imo.

speaking for my part i always want to know what is going on... whats the plan... where are we heading... anything coming up... employment politics by feerik should be changed...! this is my personal opinion!

And by that I mean they seem to staff for French supports over... Any other language. I didn't know how bad it was for the German part of the forum. I know English players still have some outdated text and on a few cases errors where we didn't get to see the ELO ban-list, but other languages did. Not to mention there are countless typos that I'm not even sure are getting processed in the thread there is for typos in the Bugs section.

I'd help Mod, but I don't think I'm the best fit for it, since I've seem to have made a bit of an enemy out of Zurga for voicing my opinion. Plus I'm not bi-lingual, so I can't help in that area. At the most the only thing I could do is, if they gave me a .txt file of the text of the cards, I'd try to go through it and fix spelling errors *shrugs*

That's not going to happen, though. I just hope Feerik gets their act together and services all languages. They're going to have to figure something about this whole 'Move to Montpellier' thing to get new and better employees.

Kmilea has the same bunch of work as the others translators in Feerik. They have to take care of all of the games...
I know that she looks at the text thread, even she doesn't update he tread.

I have the same information that any other player. I discover like you the daily update and I moan like you when I see the bugs or bad information given.

Here's an idea. Maybe they should... Learn another language? If they really want to support other languages and have a hard time finding people who know them, try learning them. Granted, I know learning another language isn't the easiest, but Jesus Christ... A little more support from Feerik would be nice over here and not the Mods. No offense to the Mods, but they can only do so much for the community as oppose to a staff member.

Sorry, but I could try to resume my german studies, it won't help me to have time to give them the proper attention german community deserves. I already have hard time to be reactive on both french and english communities Believe me when I say we are already working really hard to provide you all the support and the feedback we can. I know it's far from perfect, I know we still have a long way to go, but we're working on it.

Concerning the playtest room, I didn't think there would be anyone doubting there wasn't any. I mean, yeah, of course, we aren't the balancing kings, but you should understand that balancing is hard. Really hard. If we didn't test our releases, it would sometimes be really really worse.

As for the text translations issue, like Zurga said translators have many many work to do. That's why I should soon have access to the translations tools so I can help Kmilea with the corrections of all these things you're telling us.
