please remember how long it took for the designers to create fog hydra... i really think that now with the result of this contest they 'started' drawing the card... so it will still take some time

i assume that he is not asking for a precise date but for an estimated time like in 4 weeks the card should be ready... an easy statement....

i strongly support this as well as a suggestion which was made years ago in german and english forum and i really think that the french forum members have had that idea as well... MAKE A SCEDULE... some time table where ingame events for certain realtime events are announced... like

halloween event is from 31.oktober till 6.november... its easy... doesnt give too many details but the player knows that something is going on... coming up... time to save some feez or whatever...

this is just one example
another could be:

feeriks 3rd birthday is coming up on day x month ä and we are planning to celebrate that with the birhday event which starts at day y month ö until day z month ü... nothing difficult but enough info to keep ppl informed

sarcasm on comments doesnt help... empathy on the other hand is a good way...

Won't happen, and for a simple reason : if we make a schedule and we are late on it, you will be the first to come and complain about how Feerik is unprofessional and everything else (and when I say you, I want to say "most players"). Other game companies don't make schedule for this reason, don't expect us to make one.

And it's the same reason for the estimated time. Because you can't know what happens. Look at Coranthia's case : we estimated we would be able to release her this week. Then Cian had to start again from scratch because of some technical issues. Now we are late on our secret schedule, and people start complaining because we're late (when we didn't announce anything).

i m just talking for my part and i think it was simply nicer if the staff would keep the player informed... and EVEN IF there is some delay for whatever reason then just announce that there is a delay... it does not matter... it just keeps my quiet because i know that this is still in progress...

its like sitting in the metro and all of a sudden it just stops at the station and wont go any further... wouldnt you like to know at least whats going on??? i mean of course i have no influence on the problem which is happening 3 stations ahead but i know ok... something is happening and i will have to wait a bit... it gives me a personal feeling of being informed and thus no need to complain...

and other games run a pretty nice scedule ... i can name a few right off if you want me to... and they are all online games...

We are too. But you'll notice these online games doesn't run the schedule you'd like us to do ;p
Simple example : you won't see blizzard announce Blizzcon is coming 1 year earlier. You won't see Riot announce a week before April the first "attention, in a week we'll release a new Urf skin". They announce things when they are absolutly sure they will happens and when it's important. Because, well, yeah : Coranthia's new version is fun, but it's not *important* ;p

As for your example, it would be true if we had announced beforehand when we would release Coranthia. We just said "soon". 1 week later is, I think, still in the "soon" timelapse.
I would have understood your complain if next week there were no news about it. But just a week. Please.
