I'd like to build a Runic deck soon but I can't decide which way to go. I was leaning towards priest cause I don't have any priest decks, but then a new rare priest was released which I'm sure will rise the already high priest cards prices. The warriors seems like a cheaper route, but that's not considering upgrade cards ( which I'm not sure how to check who needs what to upgrade). But I was just looking for opinions on which you guys prefer, possibly what builds are best. I know its a bit early an runics are still coming into they're own, but any help would be great.

As a side note, when the Archon caste says your "runic warriors" does it literally mean the warriors class or just runics in general?

I lucked out and ended up with a war guem deck pretty much out of packs..didn't spend the money on that uber pack. The war guem deck is pretty solid, though i don't currently have any of the new cards just released.

I've been trying both since i started playing this game again 2 weeks ago. I've preferred warriors over priests just from a play-style perspective. I think they're very resilient against any beat-down style deck, zil, kotoba, etc. just from the sheer power level of Power of the Colossus. being able to pump a fair amount and counter a card is great.

Anyone know what [card]Sapient, Oracle of Orpiance[/card] takes to evolve? I figure probably [card]Aura of the Goddess[/card], anything else?

neix: needs 1 Centorium Helmet
cora: needs 2 runecraft! (not blackrune, when did they renamed it?!)
lania: needs 1 honor enemy
eilos: needs 1 runicpower n 1 bigblade
hares: needs 1 runic hares n 1 runic shield
sapient: needs 1 runicpower n 1 aura ot goddess
xenophon: needs 1 runicpower n 2 ceremonial

alligan, loquitus n sanquinam: XP only

runic warriors, are warriors only yea. so the only priest with spirit +2 from sapient will be sanquinam, cause he's both.

No, only standard version allow evolution.
