Runic Legion

Based on the newest campaign released, it looks as though another guild has surfaced: Runic Legion. From the altered characters in the campaign, it seems they are a warrior guild like Kotoba, but with dare I say heavier weapon focus.

Hares has a lvl 4 upgrade coming and it looks like the market has no "Runic" anything on sale at the moment. Now this is purely based on the campaign and the trailer, but anyone want to wager a guess before release what tools the Runic Legion will be implementing?

My guess is a tyrannical warrior country hell-bent on eradicating Guemelites that are not War. I picture Roman Legion with some sort of Alexander figure leading them. I also see extreme reliance on Items but their runic properties may give them superiority over magic.

Any other fun ideas they might use? I realise I could simply wait, but how about some fun imagining before it begins?

I think their priests are heavy warrior support and not stand-alone. Otherwise they could be too similar to Solarian Nomads.

not too excited about this new guild, the sap heart wild buds deck can still own them from what I've seen in the new adventure mode.

My advice is to not spend fee'z or money on this new deck, it's just a novelty with no worth.

Ahhhh. But think about it. Runic stuff is anti-magic/healing. Who is to say their equipment won't pose a new threat to the Compendium or the World Tree?

I have a feeling removal cards could be the key to beating the new guys. It looks like one of their leaders pulls items straight from the deck on his turn. And another gives bonuses to take down Guemelites. It might be safer to be a human mage then otherwise with this newcomer.

If 2 possesed priests who can use theurgy without restriction are playable , it will be pretty sick .

Dimizar said about the new campaign, that it was only to advertise the characters of the new guild, but that their playstyle won't be the same as in the campaign.

That are some pretty sweet stats, and of course his illustration is great.
But 0 spirit is still a problem, we all know how easy it usually is for mage decks to take down golems. And a lot of mage decks are floating around.

Can't wait to see what there play style is like.

Ye while the other stats seems really strong spirit is so low, but well, maybe the runes increases the spirit, maybe they've more cards to reduce magic damage, still its too early to say

i guess its Archon the new cast so if u play and Archon deck -2 to magic damage receive is similar to an spirit of 2 thats pretty good
