I Finally managed to get my digital hands on the Nehants Legendary(for probably more than I SHOULD have paid, but hey..) [card] Nehantic Receptacle [/card] I've been debating how to update my corruptions deck with him. I had all the last cards that made corrution decks great but I'm not sure what to remove to update it. I'm also not sure who to kick from the deck [card]Dimizar[/card] or [card]Amidaraxar[/card].

So this is what I'm thinking, looking for input on changes though.

[card]Iron Mask[/card]
[card]Dimizar[/card] or [card]Amidaraxar[/card]
[card] Nehantic Receptacle [/card]

[card]Break the second chain[/card]
[card]Chalice, Nehantic blade[/card]
[card]Demon may rise[/card] x3
[card]Demonic portal[/card] x3
[card]desolation of the heart[/card] x2
[card]My name is legion[/card] x2
[card]Perversion[/card] x2
[card]Revealing the secret[/card] x3
[card]Vital syphon[/card] x3

This is the deck I'm considering, also thinking about [card]Overconfidence[/card] but not sure if it's worth it.

thoughts?

P.S. Iv'e never had SO many people abandon a match with me! Is it just because I'm in the lvl room? Or is it cause they see that white boarder an figure, Overpowered! Fraq this! lol It's not Pilkim guys! just Nehantic Receptacle..

Think about 2 ways:

If you want a Mage blast deck, use Amidraxar

If you want a Mage with more control, choose dimizar

And other thing, 3 times Demon may rise/Demoniac portal is kinda too much...

The both characters got their own Pros and cons:

[card]Dimizar[/card]:

-Pros
*Cannot be hurt by your cards
*Good turn bonus
*+1 defense to your other char

-Cons:
*Cant use My name is legion as Amidraxar use it
*Spirit kinda low

Best cards to use:

[card]Training[/card]-Heal when you dont got money to shyphon
[card]Brawl[/card]-I think that this made him a control card, decrease the opponent attack is awsome in a lot of decks,Especially when used after Demoniac Portal
[card]Terror[/card]-Total control + discart= Aewsome
[card]Narcisism[/card]-good to draw a terror

[card]Amidaraxar[/card]:

-Pros:
*Cons:Its a neantic guem, so can copy the legion
*Kinda high spirit
*Good to conjure Inferno

-Cons:

*Turn bonus Fail.
*Passive hability Fail.

Good cards to use:

[card]My name is legion[/card]-Ultra attack
[card]Narcisim[/card]- Good to do a good damage
[card]Tenebrium[/card]- If used on the right time, can finish the game

So amidaraxar, its better, becuz if he use [card]My name is legion[/card], the damage dealt by him is AMAZING!But if you're going to use him, you cant use too much DMR+DP..Put inferno on the game is good when you go to a hard End-game time.

Well now to finish you need to follow want you more liked., in my opnion the both are good, depend the deck that you want to do, control or blast.And there's good cards that dont's used just like Tenebrium Or Narcisism, there's a lot of possibilities, the neant mages got very ecletic.

correction for dimizar not + def its + attack which i find to be quite a disadvantage at times

Yep well this game its a freaking Rock, Papel, Scizor...Wirch actually is Control/Blast, Discart ,Beatdown...

Control/Blast>Beatdown>Discart>Control/Blast/control

I'm beginning to see the downside of [card]Nehantic Receptacle[/card]'s ability to play three spells. He may play something unhelpful or down right waste a card. I'm wondering if DMR and DP belong in a deck with him at all? I've had multiple instances where he plays a [card]demonic portal[/card] but theres no other demons on board or [card]Demon may rise[/card]s in play. He's also play Break the second chain when there's nothing in the discard pile. I feel like I should have nothing but corruptions in a deck with him to make sure that the cards that he pick have a higher chance of being useful in some way. But even still he may do something like play a [card]Desolation of the heart[/card] at a bad time or on an opponent that has one already nullifying it's effects....sigh.. I'm still REALLY happy I got him, I just didn't realize he had a mind of his own.

I feel like it's an easy fix though. just allow players to decide what extra card he plays... But I don't know if that would make him too powerful... but comparing him to [card]Master-mage pilkim[/card]? I'd say no..

yep thats what i was thinking when i saw his ability he helps you deck out faster too

This is the deck that I settled on. Still open to suggestions. I don't find [card]Amidaraxar [/card]useful except that he's a nehant guam. If we could get another one thats a mage (preferably with the same turn orders as demizir) that would be PERFECT. but for now this is what I'm using.

I still have the problem of [card]Nehantic Receptacle[/card] grabbing cards that he shouldn't ( [card]Break the second chain[/card] with nothing in the grave, [card]Demonic portal[/card] with no other demons, etc..) But I don't think there's a way around that. I also feel that if I don't get a [card]My name is legion[/card] in the first three rounds its gonna be a tough battle. I do suffer from bad draws occasionally also. But overall I'm happy with it. But still open for suggestions. Also anyone got any advice on how to take on wild buds? they are a plague in elo.
