marketplace changes

can someone please explain to me why when i picked up [card]crystal storm[/card] i bought them for 15k each (not complaining)

but when I looked into the current marketplace price for [card]crystal storm[/card] the max price someone can put for it is currently 1600 and there are still cards up for 20k?

I just need an explanation before i feel like i got jipped for buying them so soon. a 14k drop in less than 12 hours is dumb for a rare card

if this has something to do with me just buying the crystals storms then looking at their cost for selling then i wouldn't be mad as long as its not affecting everything and if i wanted to sell them in the future that i would be able to at least match the current market price.

after all this isnt the stock exchange.. although some people think of it that way from what i read
