Golems+items

I checked forum already, but actually I didn't find what I wanted to know, and it's too expensive to check that  in-game .-.
Golems can use items w/o restriction of guilds, but they can use items restricted to other races as well right? cuz i saw foam golem using elfines bow for splash dmg,
but the thing I wanted to know is if golems can use items restricted to certain caste?
Or it's possible to build a MECHANIST golems deck where they using DK swords like chimera and items from other castes to build some fancy combos this way?
