nonexchangeable card idea

So everyone sometime or another has had the idea that there needs to be a way to sort of 'clean house' as far as your collection goes for the cards that you just simply will not use, whether its from a different guild or caste or type, anything. Now i'm kind of ocd as far as seeing 6 of one card and i keep getting more and was thinking that there needs to be a way to consolidate all of the nonexchangeable cards in your collection and sort of 'trade them in' for a chance to get different nonexchangeable cards.

Its like trading in a game at game-stop after the game has been out for a while, you end up taking 8 or 9 games and trade them in even up for a new game or rather a game that you want.

But my idea is this.

We as players should be able to take a set number of nonexchangeable cards, separated into rarity categories for simplicity and balance, and 'trade them in' for 1 card of the same rarity level for a chance to get a card we will put to actual use in the game.

taken another step further

Energy could be have to used in order to actually use the option for exchanging cards.

an example could be:

spend 15-? energy
pick out 10-? nonexchangeable cards from collection (separated into rarity)
receive 1 nonexchangeable card of similar rarity.

I think that this is no different than spending energy in adventure mode and receiving 1-3 cards for free so there wouldn't be an issue with free cards.
its an up side for free players to get another option of trying to get cards they will be able to use.
for most people who think like myself in that they just dont want to see the cards they can not exchange in there collection, this would be a great way to tender to their needs.
