Seems to work pretty well so far. Just chain things into [card]Illumination[/card]/[card]Cutting All Ties[/card]/[card]It's All Fun and Games...[/card]/[card]Fatal Countdown[/card] and deny, deny, deny. If you wanna talk OP, just ask someone what it's like to not draw into ANYTHING.

While I really like [card]The Shadow, Lady of the Nehant[/card], I think [card]Hate[/card] is what makes the deck work so well. Right off the bat it's denying your opponent, and after 1 [card]It's All Fun and Games...[/card], for 2 turns they're at 3 cards, making [card]Fatal Countdown[/card] all that more powerful should they play ANYTHING while STILL denying them any more access to cards.

Any thoughts on this version?

I've been trying different perspectives and decklists on discard/deny nehant, even a version with terrors and pulling the string on terrors for my next target/fight. Haven't worked so far... How is that deck going so far fof you? Wins/loses ratio? I will defo give it a shot and see btw, just asking you to see how has it gone playing it so far..

So, basically it's just a "Hand Job" deck that everyone builds...

And why don't you have any Until Someone Gets Hurt in there? That is my cornerstone card when I use this deck. I also throw some Great Devourers in there.

You shoud try [card]Torment[/card] instead of Anagram.

ok i agree with you if you have the crystals for a torment by all mean whore her out. But for a cheap still effective playstyle the deck list seems legit. (Too legit to quit) Though I's suggest cutting out the Journey for another toolbox card

Is there another card that allows for outright denial of drawing ANY cards? If there is, I must know it it!

While not the cornerstone of the deck (anymore), CAT still remains one of the most powerful cards in it. I love chaining into it or Illumination. The deck flows nicely (if not a bit slow at times), but if there's one way to beta a deck it's to make sure they don't draw anything they need. CAT does that, outright. So while you may think it's not needed, I believe it's too important a piece to even consider taking out unless there's something out there that can replace it.

Well, I don't see anyone running this version. I usually see 3 Nehant Guems, and not Hate, and not all Mauraders. The third I usually see is Ardrakar, or maybe The Fallen.

And I don't throw in ...until someone gets hurt because I can't find room. And as I've stated, the deck rums pretty smooth. Sure, getting multiple Cutting all Ties and Illuminations in the first couple of hands is annoying, but it happens. Usually works out in the end, more often then not.

My version got [card]terror[/card] in it, its slow but discarding card make them think twice. use the cards or get discarded anyway then locking them down if you know your got good draws. i also place more chainable cards instead of [card]It's all fun and games...[/card] and perm cards. don't wanna get stuck with my own poison

I got stuck facing a deck like this once. never heard of CAT before it got played on me 3 turns in a row lol.

i like the concept of it and i guess if there was a deck i would try for nehant's then i would come to this one but something just feels off when i think of myself playing with a nehant deck. still... worthe looking into, thanks for posting it

oh yeah they also used the break the second chain to pull it again from the graveyard lol.

I tried this, but the interaction with Illumination makes it meh it can sometimes fetch this, and if you don't have a CAT in the discard pile it's just a useless move. If I put it in, I'd probably take out an Illumination for it though, since it basically has you use CAT twice, which is always nice.
