i used d portal magic attack combo with nehantist mages but its win rate defends on your hand though

Same here : nehant mages with [card]demonic portal[/card], cards to get em back ([card]break the second chain[/card], [card]recycle magic[/card]), and defensive card ([card]Mirage[/card], [card]perversion[/card], [card]tadaaa you're a bunny[/card]....). Keep in mind you also need cards to heal out of combat characters, as he deals aoe damage. I used a few [card]pique-nique[/card] (got 4 of em tongue), [card]coaching[/card] might also do (on dimizar), and some other heals too ([card]camp[/card], [card]the calling[/card]...). Had some success.

But don't hesitate to use favors every now and then if you're about to kill it and things look grim smile.

use sentence if 1 of your character is going to die, and pick heal/defense cards, with 5 demonic portals u can win

i'm only allowed to use 3 of each kind of card and i read here 5 of those and 4 of this etc.. how do you use more copies??

You can't have more than 3 copies of a card per deck. But you can use though Demonic Portal (or any spell on that matter) 5 times w/ the help of [card]Break the Second Chain[/card].
