Re : Unknot the Thread of Time

I'm on the last boss, but got damn it's nearly impossible to finish this within a hour without buying feez, and i'm not crying about buying feez, but damn they should really take the time limit off, seeing as you need a 100k-900k deck to beat this anyway, funn as hell though, I can't lie!

Re : Unknot the Thread of Time

For the fourth mission i recommend using a shadow mage deck with [card]Never lonely[/card] cause all of the chars are shadow guemelites wich means a lot of damage, still a bit tricky tough but managable.

Has anyone totally finished this adventure yet? does anyone know if its possible to  obtain [card]Deirf Geis[/card] without purchasing energy? or is finishing in the time given the only way?

You can get [card]Deirf Geis[/card] as a random loot from the last mission. That one is TOO EASY with a discard deck so I think it's better to just farm it, not like the Inferno one that is too much of a problem.

The final mission is super easy if you use a discard deck, got it at the first try.

Ok the Zil's are upsetting me. How does one defeat them?

I used a Nehantist Demon deck, Demonic Cloud, Price of Flesh, etc, the direct damage really helped.

To keep our little friend Pilkim alive I used a Corruption deck with 'pulling the strings' to redirect corruptions, that helped a lot too.

What else works? I tried Eclipse with Sentence but its impossible to guess when they are going to heal.

Crystal Storm Blast Deck as I mentioned few posts back. Killed them within 4-5 turns.

OK the fifth mission does appear to be on a whole different level from those before, did anyone manage to do it yet? I tried 3 times so far, but they manage to kill him by the end of round two, ffs

Managed to beat the 5th mission after a few tries. Damned Pilkim kept dying on me! Lucky that he played [card]Vital Syphon[/card] on my character, it was enough to keep him alive for 5 turns.

Hey mate question how do u manage - so far 7 out of 7 tries they put - [card]My name is Legion[/card] and [card]Vital Syphon[/card] on him the first turn and the next they just finish it with a random corruption on him - I can't figure it out.

First turn Pilkim played Vital Syphon, then on the second turn I killed one of them with one blow, third turn I took some energy out of the other char, the fourth turn faced Pilkim again and tried not to take a lot of HP from him, then on the fifth turn my char with Vital Syphon killed the other guy healing Pilkim in the process.

Hmm with Crystal Storms at 13k apiece...thats not happening.

Eclipse is hard as they -attack. Why not a World Tree deck or any mage deck for that matter? World Tree do not rely on Spirit (not much anyway) and they should be able to overcome Zil Circus Blackmails. Put in a couple of [card]The Rain Dance[/card] and you should be set.

I have killed the Zil (4th) witch an Ice Elves deck without modifications from the one of the advent calendar (except for some cards found in adventure mode).

for the 4th one with zil I used a weird deck with master-mage marzhin, erevant, and alishk(fire version). Just load up on fire spells and a couple darkats, draconic spells.  Spam the fire spells with your mages, and when its marzhins turn chain a magic attack or cut and thrust with [card]darkat[/card] and your good to go.

Pretty cheap I would guess I only had 1 rain of fire in it, the rest were generic smoked arrows, combustions, burn in hell, and unleash hell.
Since they'll be discarding you anyway marzhins passive of +2 atk per fire spell with darkat acting like a perm assassination on roids gets him hitting in the 20s pretty quick.

Re : Unknot the Thread of Time

I got  through all the missions quite fast (not within the 1 hr limit of course), so i'll share what i used for each one :

1st : Mechanist golem deck (focused on building 2 character and let meister die)

2nd: Crystal storm (easy lol)

3rd: i used a temple guardian deck with sakina, and pitted sakina with the kot for 0 dmg (i guess some incarnation would make it easier)

4th: shadow mages with 3 never lonely + 2nd chain for alyce

5th: this is the only 1 that I had to do twice, but i was using a pseudo discard so yeah discard deck

6th: discards as well

7th: surprise surprise! it's discards again!

hope that helps

Hey Zurga, can we farm this one, or is the time limit trophy the only way to get him?  Normally, if we can do both, they list the prizes separately...

Some friends get it by farming so you can get it from drops.

True, but i faced the last bosses 6 times and won all times, and got nothing but crap,i wonder what's the odds of getting him from farming!
