So, I haven't been playing this game for months, and I decided to return.
As expected, my Noz deck seems to be very outdated, so I need some tips on updating it. Help is appreciated! :-)

Aeronaut the Crystomancer

Spells:
Armor Invoke x2
Dragon Armor x3
Breaker x1
Draconian Scepter x1
Drowning x2
Lightning Bolts lvl 3 x1
Luminosity x1
Mentalism x1
Rain of Death x3
The Council's Banner x1
The Dragon's Breath x3
The Last Action x1

That is already nice Noz Mage deck...

I think [card]Last Action[/card] is needed in there and something to do physical damage like [card]Than the Sword[/card] incase u are running to a [card]Dark Stone Heart[/card]

hmm maybe you should just go full offense since dragon armors are slow and armor invokes should only be one but it will also be slow add some rods or sinkings if you cant afford rods

What are sinkings? and if RoD is Rain of Death, I already have 3 in the list. Although this deck is pretty good, I've lost two in a row against opponents with deck themes that I should be able to beat. I'll consider running 3 Than the Swords, along with ditching one Armor Invokation. However, I'm afraid of the chances of drawing it will be lowered too much.

Do u think I'll need Freezing if I already have Breaker?

EDIT: Oops I meant to put The Last Action, not The Last Word. Thanks for catching that.

no need for freeze unless you want to destroy foamie stacks though since you can break sinking is a earth spell like a cheap fireball

Your deck isn't as outdated as you think it is. Not many new cards have been released for to strengthen the mages. but there are a few new weapons. mainly:

[card]Break the first chain[/card], which is a lot like a 4th RoD and because of that is pretty much a must have in almost any mage deck.

[card]Break the Second chain[/card] lets you use a spell in your graveyard again, but you have to be carefull with this card because the character that uses it wont be able to use noz cards after that, so use it at the end of the game.

and what has been said before, using last action and than the sword will give you a weapon against those decks that can take your spell damage without much problem.

[card]Break the Second Chain[/card] effect only last for that turn (unless I am mistaken) as it did not mention the change of Guild as permanent. This is to prevent the abuse of Lightning Bolt Lvl 3.

ok, so this break the first chain seems nice. I guess i should ditch the sustaining armors, they didnt let my chars survive an extra turn anyways most of the time.

-2 armor invoke
-3 dragon armor
-1 mentalism

+2 break the first chain
+3 than the sword
+1 break the second chain

hows that?

ugh so....
in addition to my suggested chances a few comments above, how bout
-1 break the chain (cause its apparently unique)
+1 luminosity

I dont know really what to put in though

maybe try erevent and replace aeronoaunt since he can deal +2 magic dmgs

But if i were to put in Erevent, I might go back to my old Pilkim Erevent Prophet build.

yeah but i dont use pilkim i prefer arch mage for her def bonus and the ability to get her staff at the beggining

Well Pilkim gets a def proc with draconics, so if i add the than the swords he is definately a contender.

ill try all the stuff u guys suggested.

For the spells, I just need to take out the dragon armor/invoke and add in break 1st/2nd chain and than the sword?

well i tried the pilkim prophey erevent combo, and although there is more variety between att and mag, their stats are fundamentally weaker.

any other ideas?
