moments that make me wonder
why am i second? i was first to reach 1600 elo... and we got the same stats and what would have happened if the tournament finishes like this?
and why do i have to wait 10 minutes to get a fight... made me lose this tournament!

The person in question has a much higher permanent elo than you.
He is ranked 8.
That's most likely why..in the advent of a tie, the "better" player wins.

since when does permanent elo count for... anything? and why should permanent elo, which is obtained in Amnezey tournament, count for the contest of the border tourney?

It's my guess from the Chess Elo system.
Just a guess, of course.
It could also be that their last game took place after yours, which made the list update them to the top.
