I really like this game and am boarderline addicted. I think that this could be as popular as other games (which I won't mention, although they begin in Yu... and Poké...). I'd get people to join in with this and it would be awesome! It has almost 300k people on Facebook who like it and over 2 million people registered.
There are things defined at random like the actual damage done by a character. Factors affecting this are the min/max attack and defence, and spirit. Maybe a little machine of sorts could give random numbers out and it could be defined this way. I understand this would take quite a lot of money to start and continue, but I think it would be well worth it because it has quite a fanbase:
24m games have been played
2m people have registered
281k people like it on Facebook
120k people are monthly users
792 people have 100 or more posts in these forums
And it has only been going for 2 years?!
Just a thought :')

I don't think the market needs any more paper tcgs. There's been quite a few attempts, but they always die out before the wrath of the Big 3.

You forgot the most popular of 'The Big Three.' I'll give you a hint. it starts with Magic.
I don't think this game could be as popular as any of those. Not by a long shot. The support for those games is staggering compared to Eredan. And yeah, granted for this game only being around for about two years, it's impressive, but it's not going to keep expanding at that rate. This game, I feel, has plateaued. If they were going in that same direction every two years, then yeah, it'd be popular.
There are just too many things wrong with this game for it to be half as popular as any of those games. They never fix bugs, they instead mask the bugs with more content, which just bugs out too. The marketplace is just... I'm not going to play the broken record here, since everyone else mentioned how messed up the market is.
Hell, Suburban Arrivals (Stare at it for a second, you'll see what game that is.) is more popular than Eredan. They should think about beating them before taking on actual good card games.

For a sec I thought you meant Subligar. Reminded me of Final Fantasy XI/

Bugs wouldn't be present in paper cards! And neither would the marketplace! It would just be a case of buying real decks and real boosters :')

First they'd have to find a company willing to make the cards; not many will touch new ccgs anymore since the market has no need of them. Generally anything over 3 in the entertainment industry causes 1 to die out...and the Big 3 will make sure its not them. That's why most new "card games" are online only. Cheaper, safer, and overall more profitable than taking a 1 in a million shot at the giants.

ya'll forgot to put in there feerik is cheap lol, paper cards would cost so much more money, not only for cards but then you have to find stores to sell them , and pay trucks to ship them but yeah the cards would cost more to, seeing how at the moment they make one virtual card, and jus copy it, more profitable to have it this way...i cant see it ever as a tcg, would make a good video game i think have it for the most part something multiplayer for x-box live would be ok, but have it so you can play and win new cards on the game and through your game console be able to send copy's to your eredan account, could be a decent marketing tool, if ya want them cards you would have to go buy the game and stuff, i dunno an idea i guess lol

Yeah that all makes sense! I think instead, then, they should bring it out on portable devices like the Apple products and BlackBerry and shiz. Or even an adventure mode on a proper console like xBox or PS3 or something, or even an adventure mode on PC which doesn't need the internet. Damn that would be awesome!

I've played most card games been more than competent at most. I used to play a game that had very similar, charismatic artwork, but tottally different gameplay. Anyhow is was called Magi-nation owned by 2i. The had a GBA game and quite a few 100+ card sets. Anyhow this game was always my favorite when I was younger and I went every week to tournaments, was constantly nationally ranked in the top ten. It was a great game. Now that I'm older I realize online TCGs have a major advantage. People dont have to commute to tournaments or a mutual meeting place just to play... I love that fact about Eredan. Eredan would not make it as a real TCG.... I love this game, but no. It would get slaughtered. MTG is all that's really left. But even that scene is starting to dwindle. Real TCGs have seen their best days and even one day MtG will only be online.
I do miss the good ole' days of misused youth however. Being sponsored to play card games and traveling all over the earth to play in tournaments.... :] oh how I miss the....
The worst is yet to come and all I have to trade is only everything.

I would be overjoyed if the CCG market could ever look like even half of what it was in the '90s. My personal favorite gaming era, when you could have fun playing even a terrible card game. And there were a lot of them.
Anyway, I think Eredan really benefits from being an online game. The modifiers are taken care of automatically, we have instant access to games, there's a quest mode, and we're constantly offered the chance to compete in tournaments.
If anything, I think FeeriK needs to double down on the medium it is in, and start taking advantage of it's online status. There's really only one competitor for them here, and it's much less a CCG than Eredan is.
I play Sap Hearts. What? Someone has to.
