this boss driving me crazy...........is there any deck that definitly will win again this bug?
how about shadow guem deck,,,is this deck any good againts it??i want ask you guys first before i buy some cards

i'd say there are 2 decks that have a good a chance of beating him, thou they are damn expensive; Eclipse (Solaris and Obesity as tool cards, and Time to Die-> Burning Soul for higher dmg output), and Sap Multirace (Butterfly Collars and Quickdraw for a higher dmg output cuz even thou he lowers your atk, the additional attacks equal your printed min. atk)

other than that, Disidence, Litmus Test, Extinction and Sentence are pretty good against him, but they work against almost all bosses^^

yes he is... that only saves him against Swarm of Scarabs and Sacred Intervention (and Punishing the Unpure... but that's not very important) thou. the thing that makes this boss so hard, is that he reshuffles his graveyard every turn (apperantly on of his hidden effects) and also seems to ALWAYS know when to play Obesity/ Solaris and ALWAYS got one of those at hand...
i also thought of trying out my Tsoutais against him next, once my energy refreshes, just to see if Ayako's effect (the atk of your Tsoutais cant be reduced) somewhat helps against him... then again the average defense/ health of this deck aint that impressive -.-

i tried eclipse and failed,,quick draw too,,,that bug has obesity,which block quick draw

uhm... i'd adjust my cards if you know what he's playing... so only play quickdraw as a standalone when it's your turn and as chain when it's his turn, since he tends to only play obesity as the first part of a chain (at least i've never seen him play it second against me) or not at all.

The first and only time i fought him. I won. I used Eclipse Marauders and Just Time To Die + Burning Soul. Harshness works great too, along with Sentence. I never saw any Obesity or Solaris. He must have been having a bad day lol.

I used discard the few times i fought him, if i remember correctly i won 2 out of 4 fights.

hmmm i m currently trying to farm 2 additional desert masks and also 2 additional zil hats cause i think they are quite useful

so far i m using my IhaS against both but they only win 50% of the time and i d like to increase the chances a bit... i have a few decks but none seems effective enough

recently i tried to hinder him by root him so that he only can use one theurgy each turn but it seems that one of a hidden effects at the end of the turn is that all or one attached enemy card is transferred back to my chars... so in the end i m rooting myself...

without quickdraw i also lacked enough damage to get him down...

i m running out of ideas... my IhaS deck depends too much on the first hand and favors which i m kinda running short of.

the bug's abilities are awesome
-he is reusing his graveyard all the time
-a heavy magic damage output when using scarab swarms
-decent physical damage output when using fury of sol'ra
-doesnt care about guild restrictions
-removes permanents attached to you
-transfers permanents attached to him on your chars
-as priest always hits physically even after dealing magical damage
-can randomly block actions with obesity

actually the only thing you need to do is smash his 60 hp fast enough before he gets a grip on you

which decks are you guys using that give a better chance then a mere 50%... besides using quickdraw

I beat him with a simple TG deck that annihilate posted a while back then, with sakina hakim and shrikan

I have 90% victory against the bug with a discard deck.
He takes the discard pile only if you play permanent cards.
Play only direct cards like [card]theft[/card], [card]blackmail[/card], [card]mental syphon[/card] and he never gets the discard pile back.

Do not play [card]Chiaroscuro[/card] or permanent defence cards, he will shuffle the discard pile and you will loose.

hahaha sorry zurga... seems like i make u answer the same things over and over in different languages... i m just trying to find new ideas (and try my french a bit... its getting rusty)

i ll absolutely try my discard deck again... just have to scratch it together and hope i will last long enough

thx for the hint with the permanent cards, that will really help me a lot!!
