Request to the guilds trophy

Says play each of the 7 guilds once...aren't there 8 guilds?

Kots
Sap
Pirates
Nehants
Mercs
Nomads
Zil

So.....we not counting Mercs or what?

Technically speaking Mercenaries are soldiers for hire. So even if they have a guild per say they are free lancers that can go and be with any other guild. So I sorta see why they don't count mercenaries.
