Losing internet connection

I lost my internet connection while in-game (and I was one turn from winning).
Now back online my consecutive wins are reset. I was on 23 and now I have to start over. Why? This sucks -.-

I think they should change this, so your consecutive wins are not reset due to disconnection. Isn't it possible to detect whether the player closed the game or lost internet connection?

Edit: My consecutive wins are now reset again because the game crashed. Suddenly the game was just a white screen with a grey exclamation mark -.-

Re : Losing internet connection

Suppose the staff change that :
You are in a streak of 48 games and the 49th is going very wrong.
Not a big deal, you shut down your internet connection, this doesn't count.
No closing window, no crash, no leave in game, just unplug the cable or switch off your Wifi.

I let you take the conclusions.

Actually you don't need to shut down your connection if you are losing. You just need to time out and your wins won't be reset back to zero. Haven't tried it yet but that's what I've heard. Well I don't care about consecutive wins anyway but I was also pissed when my 55 consecutive wins were broken due to disconnection. At least it happened after I got the 50 wins so no harm done.
