I have had 6 times were I have beaten the Kotoba boss and received no cards for it. Is this a glitch or is it that you are not guaranteed to get reward cards?

Yeah...

While I acknowledge the desire/need for the designers to decrease the 'free' flow of cards, having 0 rewards seems kind of a bummer.

Zero reward for beating some of those lyhard bosses is pretty rough, and I'm getting nothing 2/3 times currently (although to be fair it's a small dataset, I've only had about 5 victories in last 3 days or so).

Hi I have seen ppl post on the threads that you don't get more that one new event (like hat,mace,armor) well i got a treat picnic does drop more than one.

All of these items can be dropped more than one.
Only "Strength of... " have not been seen in multiple drop actually.

Tyr dportal with magic attack combow works 70/30 chance of beating him the only thing that wil beat you is a bad hand

I have been wondering the same!  I still can't beat him!!

Tyr dportal with magic attack combow works 70/30 chance of beating him the only thing that wil beat you is a bad hand

The only problem with that strategy is the lack of demon portals cards on the market right now, I'm lucky to even have one...

Ok, I can finally personally vouche for that strategy!  It does work, I've beaten him 5 times now...crap cards for prizes so far tho.

You can't sell cards to specific people...even if someone did agree to "sell them to you" someone else would probably buy it off the market before you even got to it...

I think he was trying to point out one of the problem of the current market system. I am in the same situation holding some cards in high demand just because the market prices are too biased on rarity rather then supply and demand.

of course you can, you just have to choose to sell them for a higher price, and if their is no others to be sold then you are the only choice to buy from

I've used discard and temple guardian priests although getting past his anti-healing ability can be tricky.

I tried all sorts of decks, but Eclipse with some Eredan favors I got from the phoenix quests was the only way I could manage to do it.

it would seem that way...although some have very low spirit and defense
